Late to the game, never played 2e but interested. :)

Just need to know what to roll if room is still available and what class I should aim for. And if I need to know anything else PM's are also acceptable. :) I'll try and catch up on this topic here soon. :)

Edit:

Set #1

Skip the key for now. It is a rare/special item.

Alright. Looks like I'll take Set 2 with Cha upped to 11.

Set 2

Str: 11

Dex: 14

Con: 12

Int: 8

Wis: 14

Cha: 8 -> 11

Looking at the array it looks like Cleric would be best option? I'm guessing?

A cleric or a thief, I'd say.

I'm good with both. I've mostly played Rogues/Theives. But again unfamiliar with 2e so is there a preference? I saw there already was a thief so if there's a problem with there being two then I could go cleric.

There is no problem with two thieves.

You can always emphasize a different set of skills. In 2E, thieves get a standard array of abilities, but the player determines how many points he wants to put into each skill. So you can be really good at opening locks, picking pockets, sneaking around, etc. Or an even spread. Whatever.

I am allowing the less munchkin-like kits. Kits are packages that tweak the basic class you take.
Tarlyn has made a thief with the burglar kit, for example.
But don't worry about a kit if that seems like too much bother. I am giving out a free skill (non weapon proficiency of the 'general' category, which includes many things that in 3E would be craft, profession, practical, and physical skills) to any single classed character who does NOT have a kit. That helps keep things fair.

But if you do play a cleric, then we can have a brief chat about religion in the game world.

Rolling dice first. I was thinking a fighter, but I'm open to filling in any gaps.

[dice]0[/dice]

[dice]1[/dice]

[dice]2[/dice]

[dice]3[/dice]

[dice]4[/dice]

[dice]5[/dice]

STR: 16
DEX: 15
CON: 14
INT: 13
WIS: 11
CHA: 9

Hrmm, not bad. Should I swap out that 9 for an 11?
