Player Actions
Mr. Agale: Uses a Dishearten to make the Water Weird attack Poincare. It barely hits, deals 11 damage and Marks Poincare.
Tomas: Divine Mettle's Nerit, hits the Water Weird for 9 Radiant Damage.
Nicolas: Uses Inspire Competence on all PCs but Lia, hits Poincare with a Vicious Mockery for 9 Psychic damage.
Celeste: Misses a Storm Walk on the Weird (provoking an AoO from Poincare). Fires a Reeling Torment at the Weird for 26 damage
Kerrian: Summons a spirit (purple dot), hits Poincare for 13 damage, heals Celeste, and readies a Spirit Shield vs. Poincare.
Nerit: Teleports, uses Deep Shroud, and Lightning Strikes Water Weird for 16 damage and Poincare for 3.
Darius: Teleports, Marks, and then Frigid Blades Poincare for 10 Cold Damage. Poincare has Cold Resist 10, and resists all of it. Poincare does take a -2 speed penalty, however.
Cyrus: Moves, gains Oath of Enduring Wrath, and crits Poincare for 14 Radiant Damage, also gaining 4 temp HP.
Lia: Casts Magic Missile, misses. Casts Shield, don't know why.

Darius wrote:"I...must...insist," he grinds out as the water weird tightens its grip, and then he is standing above the professor, longsword drawn and blade coated in ice. "You and me, woman, and we'll see who tires first."

With that, he cuts at her prone form.
The shivering blade arced down upon Dr. Poincare's prostrate form like an avenging fury, proclaiming nothing but death and damnation to the enemies of the Lawgiver as it fell. It turned to ice as it did so, a frozen starburst, cold and distant.

Then it stopped. The professor, of art history of all things, had interposed her wrist between her body and the blade. She'd moved unimaginably fast, before the blade even began to fall. Frost began to coat her wrist, but Poincare regarded this without so much as a glimmer of discomfort.

"If you wish." Dr. Poincare said, clinically examining the blade at her wrist. Then, once more moving with that bizarre grace, she twisted out from beneath it and bounded to her feet, the sword biting deep into the ice.
Tomas wrote:"You could at least give us a speech about your master plan, you know!" Tomas shouts at her, but focuses on the bizarre elemental. Yeah, that's going to have to go.

"Some other time, perhaps." Dr. Poincare smiled for just a moment. She put her hands together, grasping the glaive of shadows and ice and rusted metal in both hands, then planted the end in the ice. The doctor closed her eyes, seeming almost to meditate in the midst of battle, even as her enemies closed around her and bolts of rime from her followers darted overhead. Then she opened her mouth and screamed.

It would be impossible to describe the sound. It began as a high-pitched keening, and continued, rising in register till you weren't even sure if you heard or if you felt it. Something impossibly powerful, piercing and malignant. Images assailed you, little glimpses of past and present and future, a grim assembly of funereal scenes. You felt a warm trickle from your ears, and blood dribbled down the sides of your heads.

"Quickly." You heard Poincare give the command as though in a dream. "While they're stunned."
The Gods of Bizarre Fate wrote:Scratch that. There was a brief pause accompanied by a brain-crawlingly horrifying squelching noise. The water weird was translucent, for all that was holy. The geese were still in there. They appeared to be drowning as you watched.

The majority of you were not experts on the physiology of elementals, but you were reasonably certain that this was an unhealthy situation for the weird.
There was a brief pause as this was considered by all involved. It just wasn't something you saw every day. Even the Weird paused for a moment.

Then its body churned, the ropey, snake-like form shifting to ice and water and back. One goose's neck snapped, the bird falling still, and others began to be sharply lacerated by the bits of ice and the pressure of the elemental's form. The Water Weird's clear, crystalline form began to be tainted with dark, rich blood.

Poincare OA on Celeste: Miss

Water Weird!: Is dazed, so it tries to bite Tomas. Crits. Which sadly only means 12-1=11 damage, and Tomas is Marked (takes -2 to attacks if he makes an attack that does not include the Weird)

Cultist #1 fires a Frostbite Bolt at Nerit. Suffers a -5 penalty due to heavy obscuring. Rolls a natural 1. (What is with these things?). Cultist shuffles back onto dry land.
Cultist #2 fires a Frostbite Bolt at Nerit. Suffers a -5 penalty due to heavy obscuring. Hits. Deals 11 damage, and Nerit is Slowed (Save Ends). Cultist shuffles back onto dry land.

Cultist #3 uses a Tentacle of Water and Ice on Tomas. Hits for 21 damage, Tomas slides 2 squares and is restrained (save ends). Tomas makes his save to avoid entering the water.
Cultist #4 uses a Tentacle of Water and Ice on Celeste. Hits for 19 damage, Celeste slides 4 squares and is restrained (save ends). Celeste makes her save to avoid entering the water. Takes 12 damage from Celeste's Chaotic Shield.

Cultist #5 moves up and uses a Tentacle of Water and Ice on Cyrus. Misses due to Obscurement. Uses Insubstantial Transformation, is Insubstantial and Flying 4 (Hover) until she attacks or is dazed/stunned).
Cultist #6 moves up and uses a Tentacle of Water and Ice on Nicolas. Hits for 17 damage, Nicolas slides 5 squares and is restrained (save ends). Uses Insubstantial Transformation, is Insubstantial and Flying 4 (Hover) until she attacks or is dazed/stunned).

Poincare Move Action to stand up (in 4E, this does not provoke an AoO.

Standard Action to use Terrifying Scream. Close 5 Burst, attacks Celeste, Darius, Nicolas, Tomas, Nerit, and Cyrus. Hits, hits, hits, miss, miss, crit. 11 damage to Celeste, Darius, and Nicolas, and 19 damage to Cyrus. All four of those worthies are now Immobilized (Save Ends)

Minor Action to activate Insubstantial Transformation. Poincare is Insubstantial and gains Fly 8 (Hover) until she attacks or is dazed/stunned.

Ice! Reflex Attacks versus Celeste, Darius, Nicolas, Tomas, Nerit, and Cyrus. Miss, hit, miss, miss, miss, miss. Darius gets an 8, sliding 4 squares in direction 5 (due south) and falling Prone.

Recharges for Cultists 1 and 2: Nothing recharges

Terrain!

Ice: I'm going to run this slightly like a trap. At the end of each turn, the Ice will make an attack roll against your Reflex Defense if you are on the ice. If it fails, nothing happens. If it hits, we roll a d20 randomly on the following table to decide what happens:
  • 1-4: You slip and fall Prone.
    5-7: You slide 1d4 squares in a random direction (determined by a d8 )
8-10: You slide 1d4 squares in a random direction (determined by a d8 ) and fall Prone
11-13: You slip into some shallow water. You take 5 Ongoing Cold Damage (save ends).
14-16: Extremely slippery ice forces you to move very carefully. You are Slowed until your next turn.
17-18: Your foot catches in a crevasse in the ice. You are Immobilized until your next turn.
19: You take a very bad fall. You take 10 damage and fall Prone.
20: You stumble, causing a spray of freezing water to splash you in the eyes. You are Blinded until your next turn.

You may take a Move Action to steady yourself (DC 5+ Acrobatics). For every 5 points you exceed the DC by, gain +2 to your Reflex defense only against the ice. So if you got a 17, you get a +6 to your Reflex defense against the ice.

Water: Anyone who enters or starts his turn in a water square takes 5 Ongoing Cold Damage and is Slowed (save ends both). To move onto an Ice Square requires a DC 12 Acrobatics or DC 12 Athletics check as a Move Action.

Forced Movement & Water's Edge: If you are, by reason of Forced Movement, knocked into the water, you can make an immediate saving throw. On a result of 10-20, you remain on the ice, though you fall prone. On a result of 1-9 you are pulled into the water. Until you make the save, I shall leave your PC in between the two squares, and then you can count your origin square for the turn based on your save result.

Kerrian, or perhaps the spirit wolf let out a low growl, the lupine spirit unable to dig its claws into Ponicare's form, somehow she was just out of phase with its existence. However, it managed to break away, making its way towards where Celeste was, letting out a low protective snarl. Nerit felt bolstered from something as Kerrian began to quietly mutter under his breath in Low Mordentish, and Celeste felt a hint of the vigor as well as the spiritual wolf stuck close to her side.

Standard action to use Defending Strike on Ponicare, miss with an 11, then move action to move spirit companion to M21, then using Healing Spirit as a minor. Nerit can spend a healing surge and get back Surge value +3, and Celeste gets back 12 HP. All allies adjacent (currently Celeste) get +1 to all non AC defenses

"Globum vis in manu meu colligo," Lia chants. "Globum vis ad inimicem meum volat. Globu vis, inimicem meum perfringe." She whirls her staff overhead as if to deliver a crushing blow, but then jabs it forward like a spear -- and a sphere of cool, blue light arcs over the battlefield to smash into the Water Weird's icy form, sending cracks throughout its body.

Arcane energies spark and crackle across the elemental beast, gather at one crack and there leak out, lashing at Dr. Poincare -- and strike her spectral form, as well!

(OOC: Casting Force Orb at the Water Weird. Attack roll of 19 - hits! Lia can therefore make a secondary attack on each enemy adjacent to the primary target, which conveniently turns out to be Dr. Poincare. Attack roll of 23 - hits! Damage to the tune of 9 force to the Water Weird. 10 force damage to Dr. Poincare. Every little bit helps, right?)

There are times when it's a good thing to slow down. Relax. Lie down, even, and look up at the sky, and marvel at the law that undergirds all creation.

This, it must be said, is not one of those times.

Which is why Darius, blood still streaming from his ears and a red tear welling from his right eye, levers himself to his feet with his sword.

"Hellcat," he mutters. "Daughter of Mytteri."

Shaking his swordarm in a peculiar way, he raises his sword above his head and brings it down as if cracking a whip. Tendrils of electric-blue force run from it and wrap themselves around Poincare's semi-substantial form.

"Better," Darius allows.

Move action to stand up. Since I remain in the same square, I can do this even while immobilized. Not that this is necessarily a good idea. :?

Standard action: Unseen Gauntlet against Poincare, Int v. Fort., deals Force damage. 27 to hit, 8 (roll) +4 (Int) +2 (Con) +2 (enhancement) damage, all divided by 2, for 8 damage total, and Poincare is immobilized until the start of Darius' next turn.

Save 17 vs. Immobility.

Ice splattered against the indistinct area, and pierced it. The shadow dissipated, revealing a stain of red running across the white form of the nun and filtering into the snow.

Nerit huddled where she was, elbows and knees folded, hands clenched before her face. Perhaps she thought she was going to faint.

Then a faint voice in a dialect she didn't speak washed over her, and the bleeding slowed, ever so slightly.

With sudden enthusiasm, Nerit threw her arms out and bent her head back. An invisible shockwave burst from her gesture, and with it the laughing and shrieks. Was that a sparkle over her shoulder in the winter light?
She lowered her head and pointed to the water elemental again. It seemed the nun did not want to give up despite her condition. The same purple streak shot forth, and away into the white distance.

The nun shuffled backward past Cyrus and shivered, ice still clinging to her legs and about the edges of her cloak. She remained silent, a pained crease set in her forehead as she brushed at the rime.

Healing Surge: Regain 14 for 15/47 HP; 3/6 surges

Minor: Chaotic Defense 2: Nerit gains a +2 power bonus to all defenses until
the end of the encounter.

Standard: Lighting Strike on "Water Weird"
12 vs DC19 REF
Miss

Move: Shift 2 southwest (still slowed) - T16

Save: 12

"You...will not see victory," Cyrus hissed. He glared upward in indignation at Poincare and pointed his blade at her. The divine radiance surrounding him flared up again, brighter than before despite Nerit's shroud of darkness. Another beam of holy energy leaped through the air and shot harmlessly into the ice beside the doctor.

"The Lawgiver is my strength," he intoned, "I shall not falter." The dommer stood up straight. The holy light flared again and the ice at his feet shattered. He fixed his cold expression on Doctor Poincare again.

"His holy and just wrath will fall upon the guilty," Cyrus recited his scriptures, The followers of Mytteri will be struck in awe and terror by his punishment. The False shall be laid low, the Faithless shall be struck down, the Guilty shall be sentenced in His most Holy Name."

Minor: None
Move: Acrobatics check of 30 to steady myself.
Standard: Radiant Vengeance vs. Poincare misses.

Saving Throw vs. Immobilize, I passed with a 24, believe it or not.

You would think that being incased in freezing eldrictch tendrils of ice would put a crimp on your day, but unfoirtunatley for those concerned the ice hadn't restrained Nicholas mouth or fully held back his sword arm.

As it is he manages to sing on, the melancholic ballad rising over the tumult of spells and power flyign forth.

"Sometimes it's easier to give up than cry,
and keep on living in those lies.
It was all those things you said to me,
Every lie you made me believe"

Then as the rhythm builds he raises his voice, throwing back his head and loosing a cry heavenwards, a cry that radiates power outwards like a clap of thunder.

"I'm cold and so wounded, but my soul won't tear apart
lost in a frozen wasteland, but I finally found my way to escape!"

Eyes closed for a moment he doesnt quite notice the carnage he has just wrought. Opening his eyes he flicks a lascicious wink towarsd Celeste.

Standard action: Shout of Triumph - close burst 3
19 + 10 -2 = 27 vs Fort on water weird
13 + 10 -2 +2= 23 vs Fort on Poincaire
4 + 4 cha + 2 = 12 implement thunder damage on Water weird
4 + 4 cha + 2 = 10 implement thunder damage on Poincare
Poincare is pushed 2 squares to P20
Water weird is pushed 2 squares towards cultist 6 whihc I guess is the intersection of L/M 15/16 - corretc me if I'm wrong about hoe bigger than medium creatures move

Nerit if she wants can slide 2 further squares in the direction she moved so ends in V16
Tomas if he wishes can slide 2 squares to O16

Free Action to activate daily power on Harsh Songblade, leaving both Water Weird and Poincaire (as they are both adjacent to each other) dazed until end of Nicholas' next turn

Minor Action: Majestic word on Celeste for surge + 7hp

Saves 20 & 17 so scratch the immobilised and restrained.

...It appeared that Celeste was once again encased in a block of ice. The import of this situation was not lost on her.

"Well! Must, then, an honest invitation towards clemency fall upon deaf ears? I daresay that, if such behavior continues apace...ooh, I may be quite cross!"

This could possibly be construed as righteous battle-fury, if one had never actually seen anybody in a disagreement with anyone else. The full castigatory force of the thing was blunted, however, by the fact that Celeste was once again encased in a block of ice. This presented something of a problem.

Standard Action: Definitely not making a failed at-will attack roll, no sir
Move Action: 19 on an Athletics check to steady myself on the ice
Saves: Made it against Restrainment, flubbed it against Immobilization, so I'm still here.
Miscellany: What with healing this turn and last, I think I'm down to 1 surge now. Also, +1 to my AC till the end of my turn, thanks to an even definitely-not-an-attack-roll.

"Now lets all just calm down and discuss this like civilized people" pleaded the lawyer. This time his voice cloyed at frayed nerves, sapping Poincare's will to fight, making her hesitate, if only for an instant. "I'm sure that if we engage in genuine dialog, you'll find our positions aren't nearly so intractable." Belaying his own overtures, Agale rifles around in his attache for a moment before procuring a small silver flask.

Standard Action: Dishearten Centered at M19
  • 28 vs Will hits the Water Weird
28 vs Will hits Dr. Poincare
They both take 9 psychic damage (half from insubstantial for Poincare) and a -2 to attack rolls until the end of Agale's next turn.

Minor Action: drawing a potion of healing.

"W-woah!" Tomas shouts, but the Water Weird's bite is more disturbing than anything. Thank providence for the thick skin he was...well, given. Shoving the elemental's maw back with his shield, Tomas is blasted in the head by a beam of frigid light! Stumbling backwards, he barely notices the booming power of the secret words Nicolas unleashes, though he is kept out of an unpleasantly frosty fate by that. However, his head and legs are still covered in ice.

Tomas punches himself in the face. There's a crack of ice and a spit of blackish blood, and he's managed to break enough of the frost to move his face again, rubbing it and wincing as he realizes that enough flesh has ripped off of his lower jaw and chin that a bit of Eisenwald's grayish bone was visible. "Ow. So, this is your enlightenment? Teaching your disciples to attack some kid who was just trying to talk you out of whatever stupid, murderous mistake you are making?"

Tomas is holding his jaw, wincing and idly hoping that no one notices the faintly metallic shine of his bone. "Bitch!, this really hurts!"

(Sterling round on my part. Failed two saving throws, but Warforged Resolve gives me 11 temp hp and gain back 6 hp. Missed with my neutered Name of Might, do 3 thunder damage and slow Pointcare. Sorry, missing that first save sort of crippled me this turn.)

Kerrian: Misses Poincare, heals Nerit for surge+3 and Celeste for 12.
Nerit: Attacks the Water Weird, misses.
Darius: Hits Poincare for 8 damage and Immobilizes her.

Nicolas wrote:"I'm cold and so wounded, but my soul won't tear apart
lost in a frozen wasteland, but I finally found my way to escape!"
Doctor Poincare flinched as the singing caused her physical pain; the water weird bubbled as the sound rippled through its liquid body. Love it or hate it, Nicolas' poetry seemed to have an effect on people. Even those cultists standing on the island turned to look at the impromptu performance. You could see one of their faces contort into an expression of utter confusion, another on a look of puzzled disdain, another one of complete disgust. There was a brief pause in the battle as the song reached it's crescendo, a note with enough force to knock an elemental flying back. Nick's song finished, and all of the cultists were staring openly at him. There was a moment of relative silence.

A veritable storm of hail and frozen missiles flew past Nicolas' head, several catching him straight on. The bombardment of flung magic continued and did not cease until the poet's frozen form crashed into the ice and lay still. One of the younger cultists, a bright eyed young woman in a fur coat, picked up a pine cone and beaned his fallen body for good measure.

"Get a job!" she yelled.
Tomas wrote:"Ow. So, this is your enlightenment? Teaching your disciples to attack some kid who was just trying to talk you out of whatever stupid, murderous mistake you are making?"
Dr. Poincare regarded Tomas for a moment with the kind of look that was normally reserved for particularly troublesome students. It was almost as though Poincare was certain Tomas knew better, but he persisted in saying foolish things for no reason she could fathom. It was a look of deep and profound exasperation.

"Recover." Dr. Poincare said, raising her hand high above her head. It took a moment for you to realize it was an order, as a tendril of frigid water and shards of ice coiled around Poincare's forearm and yanked her back across the open pond. It must have hurt, even with Poincare's unnatural resistance to pain, and she rubbed her arm lightly as the coil of water deposited her on the ground.

The red-headed professor did not look her best. She was battered, occasionally electrocuted, and had been on the recieving end of more than one telepathic attack. And yet, she still maintained that aura of cool professionalism, even as she turned to one of the students standing near her, a petite little brunette who looked a little like Cerise, right down to the way she wielded the bone knife with wild abandon.

"Give yourself to me." Poincare asked, her harsh tones of command softened for a moment, asking, not commanding. The brunette paused, then squared her shoulders and nodded, without a sound. Dr. Poincare took her chin in one hand, lifting her face up till it was bare inches from Poincare's own. The doctor whispered something you couldn't hear across the distance, but whatever it was, the effect was immediate.

The brunette shuddered, as though having a fit of some sort, and were it not for Poincare's iron grip she would've fallen to the ground then and there. The brunette opened her mouth, as though to cry out, and suddenly from her open mouth fountained forth a river of rich, arterial blood, scarlet and vivid. It twisted in a ribbon, controlled by forces you could only guess at, then entered Dr. Poincare's own open mouth.

The fountain of blood only connected the two women for a moment, and then Poincare let go of the brunette, who staggered but stayed on her feet. The connection broke, but where before Poincare had been tired and wounded, now she stood straighter, while the girl swayed on her feet.

"Keep firing." Poincare said, looking around, possibly for an escape route, possibly for something altogether different.

Recharge Rolls! Which the Monster Manual says I roll at the beginning of the round. Who knew?
Cultist 1: 5, 1, Recharges Insubstantial Transformation
Cultist 2: 2, 6, Recharges Tentacle of Ice and Water
Cultist 3: 2, nothing
Cultist 4: 3, nothing
Cultist 5: 3, 2 nothing
Cultist 6: 3, 6 Recharges Tentacle of Ice and Water

Water Weird!: Move action to shift down 1 square, then spends an Action Point to hit Tomas with a Tail Slap. Hits, dealing 10-1=9 damage, and Tomas is Grabbed!

Cultist #1 uses a Frostbite Bolt on Nicolas. Hits, deals 14 damage and Nicolas is Slowed (save ends)

Cultist #2 In an odd sort of trick for getting her boss to safety, uses Tentacle of Ice and Water on Poincare (nonlethally). Poincare doesn't resist, which I'll call equal to being Unconscious, so this drops her defenses by 5. Hits (barely), dealing 14-10=4 nonlethal damage, Sliding Poincare 5 squares, and Poincare is Restrained (save ends)

Cultist #3 uses a Frostbite Bolt on Nicolas. Hits, deals 12 damage and Nicolas is Slowed (save ends)
Cultist #4 uses a Frostbite Bolt on Nicolas. Hits, deals 14 damage and Nicolas is Slowed (save ends)

Cultist #5 uses a Frostbite Bolt on Darius. Hits for 13 damage, and Slowed (save ends)
Cultist #6 uses a Frostbite Bolt on Cyrus. Misses

Poincare repayers her slightly pain-filled rescue by using a Blood Drain on Cultist #5. Hits, dealing 28 damage to Cultist #5, draining 1 Healing Surge, and Weakens (save ends). Poincare regains 29 HP.

Makes her save against the Restrain.

Ice! Ice attacks Cultist 6, Cultist 5, Poincare, Celeste (who has a +6 defense), Tomas, Nicolas, Cyrus (who has a +12 defense), Darius, and Nerit. Hits, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, hit, hits (exactly). So Cultist 6, Darius, and Nerit suffer Ice Effects. Rolls are: 10, 11, 18.
-Cultist would slide south-east right into the water, gets a save against that. Fails the save, enters the drink.
-Darius takes Ongoing 5 Cold Damage (Save Ends)
-Nerit is Immobilized for the next round

Until you make the save, I shall leave your PC in between the two squares, and then you can count your origin square for the turn based on your save result.

Lia starts forward, coming to a halt next to Mr. Agale. "Like blazes I'll just let you skip on your merry way," she growls as she stares intently at Poincare. "Sagitta magica, omne errore vacua, vole!" Another dart of force flies across the battlefield and slams into Poincare's body.

(OOC: Moving to V13. Casting Magic Missile at Dr. Poincare in I19. Attack roll: 25! +2 from Poincare being dazed, makes 27, even! Damage roll: 9 force. Every little bit ...)

Darius is no sooner back on his feet when Poincare is whisked to (relative) safety, damn the woman, and then one of the icebolts gets him in the ribs and he's on his knees, feeling the ice-cold water surge through his robes and cling to him like it's never letting go. He hasn't been this cold since he and Cyrus got lost in the mountains in that freak snowstorm...

Well, they didn't die then and they won't die now, and that's all there is to it. "Law and light guide us," he mutters, and looks around. It's pretty dismal...dead poets and frozen debutantes littering the battlefield. He should have brought his sling...though the footing is terrible, and he seems to spend half his time falling over anyway.

Growling, he shakes himself and starts forward again. Slowly.

Taking my second wind and moving to Q19. Save vs. slow: 13. Save vs. Ongoing Cold 5: 9

Seeing Nicholas fall, Kerrian finally risked movement onto the Ice, muttering again in low Mordentish, working to tie the spirit of the poet back more to his body, not allowing it to slip further into whatever lay beyond. Celeste also benefited, being close to the spiritual wolf. Kerrian tried to remain steady on his feet, but agility appeared to not quite be his forte.

Moving to T17, using Healing Spirit on Nicholas for Surge+3, and restoring 6hp to Celeste, then standard for a move for a 17 on an acrobatics, giving me +6 to reflex vs ice.

"Gaak..." Tomas chokes, his eyes flashing as he struggles with the elemental; the grab twists Tomas as he's still trapped on the ice, racking him! "You think...you think its that easy...that I'm gonna let you kill me before getting your boss back for that holier than thou look of hers..."

Tomas's electric touch sparks the Water Weird, as Eisenwald locks stormy blue eyes with the living wave. Its like he's drowning all over again...

"Loturr Invictus!" Tomas shouts, pulling his sword up and slamming it into the Water Weird's wet hide, the air shimmering with the weird silver-blue light of Ivorsen as it bends, letting out a call to battle!

(Okay!
Minor: Divine Challenge to the water weird.
Standard: Valorous Smite on the water weird. Hit: 25 Damage: 7(I managed to roll 2 1s.) Effect: Every enemy within three squares of me is subject to my divine sanction.
Saving Throw: 4.
Move: Athletics roll: 19+6: 25, which I think breaks the grab

So that round kind of sucked after all. Sorry guys, I dunno what's up with my luck this fight.)
