Café de Nuit

Sara nods and walks through the door keep her senses alert though.

The door swings open at the touch of Sara hand on silent hinges . It leads into a short hall way that is about ten feet long by five feet wide with a door on the south wall at the end of it .

Dalorna will follow in marching order- keeping an eye our for trouble.

Prof. Aumnoir continues to follow the others through the hidden doorway. "Curious. Who could have thought to use such a cave. And to what purpose." His questioning comes off more as a statement and made in such a way as to imply he alone was the sole recipient of the comment.
A gleam flashes over his weathered features and a tone of optimism rings as he says to no one in particular, "Caves are ideal for use in storing various goods and commodities. They are excellent for aging cheeses as well, well, with the right preparations of course.
"I expect we will find some answers shortly."

After opening the door Sara walks in and goes straight ahead. But she keeps checking the souroundings for anything that might be a trap or an enemy. In fact she has her rapier in one hand and the dagger at the other.

As soon as Sara opens the door a vast amount of musky smelling dust comes out of the the room resulting in Sara gagging and being so sick for a moment that she drops her weapons to the floor . Alia resists the urge to gag and closes her mouth on the smell before any more get her into mouth so does not suffer any more effects from it . The rest of the party is far enough back from the door that the dust has dispersed to the point of just a really bad smell .

Still feeling nauseated Sara picks up her weapons.

"Ahh! was that poison? are we poisoned? What was that stuff?"

Alia leaps back and scrubs at her face, trying to get the stuff off

"Or tomb dust? Am I going to turn into a Wight? Was it lotus dust? Am I addicted? Or mould spores? is something growing on me? Fae Dust? aghh!"

"Let me have a look, child." Professor Aumnoir makes his way to Alia to have a better look at the substance that has covered her face.

Sara goes beside the professor as well and says:

"Suddenly I feel nauseated, I think this strange dust caused it. Can we wait a moment before go on? Or can anyone else go first at the room and tell us if is safe?"

Dalorna takes a handkerchief from her bag, and ties it round the lower part of her face.

Dalorna looks about...

Isidar assists the professor in helping Sara and Alia. "Be wary Dalorna!"

Sara goes inside with the rapier and the dagger at her hands.

Huln steps back from the scent, a quizzical expression on his face. "Yes, I think we can proceed."
