"STAY BACK FOUL DEMONSPAWN!!!!!!!!!!!! OR FACE THE WRATH OF MY BLADE!" Brethana growls now , spitting, eyes wild, legs stamping, seeming to grow before the party, she brandishes her Great Sword in front of her waving it back and forth in anticipation of battle. She yells out "RAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and swings at the flying demon with all her might!

Shana frowns at the tree's words, then turns

"anyone make anything of all that?"

She glances up as the demon swoops down, one hand lifting, two glowing sparks appearing at the ends of her longest fingers, which detach and swoop unerringly up, slamming against the demon with sharp cracks

Already having his pistol out, Jamethon cocks it and takes a shot at the demon, then grabs the boy and moves under the cover of the nearest tree.

As a deterant, He turns and casts Daze on the attacking demon.

Inovidil hesitates only for a moment, she goes a few steps back in order to protect her companions from her spell and waits till the demon gets closer. Then, she waves her hands; around her the air fills with flames and a burst of fire extends around her.

Brethana is the first to meet the demon in his furious descent, and takes all the force of his blow. [6 DAM]

The monster catches her with its razor-sharp claws and throws her away into the underwood...

But in its bloodlust, the demon misses to defend itself from your countering attacks and is completely surprised by your valiant defense. - Its leather-like wings are mauled by your shots, and, engulfed in white and red magic flames, the hellish atrocity turns back to the crimson sky, hissing and yelling...

Either you run as fast as you can or you bring it down for good, for the demon will be likely to call for his devil brethren!

Brethana staggers out of the underwood, bleeding from the Demon's scratches, and if everyone is running, she joins the party ...............

Jamethon unslings his musket and readies it. If the demon is still in line of sight as it ascends, he'll fire at it. He stands over the boy to prtect him from any attack.

Inovidil starts running following Brethana, but at the same time she gets a quick look after her shoulder to see if anyone is coming after them.

Jarryd is completely frozen with the sight of something that looks a lot like Diambel, he cannot manage to react as if his body was frozen by some strange magic.

While the party seems divided in how to act, the demon sees its chance for an attack...

From the beast's clawed hands, flames spring ino the air, small scarlet sparks with shining yellow eyes.

With a sound of lust or perverted happiness, those living sparks jump over to the dried tree, leaving small fires whereever they set their burning feet on...

If they are not stopped immediately, soon, the whole treeant forest will by engulfed by the flames...

In the meantime, encircled by the small, but all-devouring flames, the demon confronts Moorkroft and the boy, while he doesn't take notice from George and Jarryd...

While its scaled skin emerges from red mist that shrouded its body, and evil and self-confident grin runs over the devil's face as he dodges Moorkroft's bullet without any visible effort.

Unleashing its dagger-long claws, the beast stands there, in the middle of the beginning fire storm, and seems to wait for something...

[Seeing how easily the demon dodged Moorkroft's attack, does George want to continue his assault?]
