New initiative order because of another Grick !!
For 2nd round they are :
1. Arnulf with 23
2. Isidar with 17
3. Dalorna also 17 but lower Dex than Isidar .
4. Alia with a 14 .
5. The Grick with 14 but lower dex than Alia .
6. Huln with a 13
7. Sara goes last with a big 6
The other monster is another Grick . You guys got lucky last round with Arnulf critical doubt it will happen this time . It will be on the party at the start of the second round before Sara can act though !!!


By the way Dark Knowledge(tactics class feature) bonus stacks with bard bonus if someone wanted to use it for there move action in round 1 .
This passage is only about 5 feet wide so unless someone has Precise shot they will be shooting into melee against the other Grick to help Sara .

Arnulf stays behind where he is at to protect his sister .

For his action he will be standing by, waiting to help someone if they need healing since he has no ranged ability.

Lol! The fighter stays back??? He will protect better his sister if he helps us kill the grick fast not by stay behind where he can't fight! None of us has magical weapon and the grick has DR we need his power attack or his hits anyway.

Don;t forget Arnulf is not even 13 yet.

Still is a fighter and he knows that Sara and Isidar don't fight as well as he does and if the grick pass through them will eventually get Dalorna, if instead goes to fight in melee they have more chances to kill it faster. Don't forget that he has the higher str in the party and the grick has DR 10. Sara cannot flank so cannot have sneak so cannot do neither 1hp! Same with the cleric. It will be very hard to kill it without the fighter in 1st line.

True, but he is 13 and very protective of Dalorna. He is in a strange place and feels responsible and very protective of his sister

His sister is in mid of the group and if Arnulf uses his rage or power attack he can kill the grick one hit, if he doesn't Sara or Isidar will probably die in 1 round. The grick has 4 attacks! So by retreating in the middle of the group Arnulf will just be responsible for the possible death of one of his companions before he actually kill the grick when it arrives to him or Dalorna. And don't tell me he is young because he saw how easily he hits it and I'm sure he would be very proud of himself by that hit and in a certain way he feels the group protector not only his sisters. He has made that clear in old posts. He is barbarian afterall he would let the women fight front line and he will hide back waiting them to die before he decides to step again forward?

Isidar will cast magic weapon on her warhammer and move forward to face the grick this round. Unless I say otherwise, my action for next round will be to attack.

If the person that was playing Arnulf was still playing him, he may have done something different but no one wants to play him . And I don't plan on playing him forever either just to let you guys know that right now . Just for the next level or so only . He will not reach any heights of coolness that I thought he could reach . But he was never my character to begin with no biggie to me . I will point out that having former character run by the DM is not safe thing for the party just trust me on this . Oh don't complain to me about what Arnulf does at all that complaint should go forth most to the player that abandoned him in my opinion .

But getting back to what happens in game . Isidar moves to in front of Sara with her new magical Hammer . She is the one that will be attacked rather than Sara who was in front leading the party when the Grick gets up to Isidar now instead of Sara .

BBQD that is not a good enough roll to grant any bonus to the party .

Next characters action please until we come to what the Grick does .

Huln is still keeping an eye on everyone from the rear.

If it's ok I can get Arnulf as well, I have played 2 PC in past and isn't that difficult.

Has the professor told us that the grick has DR?

If I remember correctly I have read somewhere that there is a rule that a PC can assist another in combat by giving AC or HR. Lord Skybolt do you play that rule?

Sorry, I have only 1 PC to a player unless that other character is the main player character's Cohort . That is called aid another it can be used in this instance to give +2 bonus to hit or a +2 bonus to AC against an opponents next attack . To aid a character has to make to hit roll against AC 10 to give this bonus to another character if you would want such bonus to do so . This would be you your standard action to so for this round . That is a standard rule in 3.5 see :
