Café de Nuit

Dalorna follows behind Sara, carefully checking out her surroundings.

Sara search of the door turns up no traps, only a lock on the door . Taking a few moments to pick the lock she is able to open it . Opening the door into a room with several bunk style beds in a military style arrangement it seems .

Dalorna will enter the room after Sara has a chance to check for traps or hidden ambushers.

Sara looks around to make sure there isn't anyone there and then goes inside.

''Arnulf, watch out for bad guys.''

"Ok Sis I will !!"Arnulf moves to the entrance of the room . Stationing himself as a look out and guard against anything that may try to sneak up on the party while they are in the room .

After looking around Sara says:

"Well this room seems abandoned as well but people have been here more recently than the meeting room. Probably because they were sleeping here."

Pointing at the chests she says:

"I can try to open them if you want, otherwise we can just check the last door."

Dalorna points out each chest, ''Open them please.''

She motions for the others to join them.

''Be wary- it's rather less dusty in this room. This might have been used as living quarters recently, or maybe not.''

"Indeed"

Sara gets on one knee in front of 5 chests and looks for traps. Then she tries to open them.

Dalorna asks the Professor, Isidar, and Alia-

"What do you think was going on here? Bunkbeds in an ordinary mine? I doubt that. Was this some sort of bandit lair, or something? "

As Sara is checking for traps at the chests she opens four of the locks on five of the chests she is trying to open so far . It takes her a few minutes to do this .

"I do not think that human miners would sleep in the mine. That is just something we dwarves do." Isidar muses

"I agree, no human mining camp would make camp within the confines of their dig site. Far too enclosed. Now on the other hand Dwarves would not have a problem. Though the bunks do not look out of ordinary to me. They seem to be more than adequately suited for man-sized individuals. Now the rare and elusive Dark Elves, they would have no trouble taking respite in such a place as this. They would also find the presence of spiders no problem. In fact they may find it comforting. I do believe that if the Drow were suspect the locals would have mentioned something. I think bandits are far more likely."

''If there are bandits around this place, they need to get a chamber-maid. The dust in this room isn't so thick as the last room, but I wouldn't call this clean.''


Dalorna says to Sara-
''Sara, if you are having trouble opening those chests, we could also just pry them open, or smash the locks with a hammer. It might be noisy , but we made noise fighting that grick -- and no one came to investigate.''


The young wizard continues her thorough search of the barracks-room.

"'Maybe Alia and the Professor should be on lookout duty while Isidar and Arnulf try to force open the chests? Just a suggestion..."

"Yeah sure, if you want to go ahead, just open those I have already checked for traps."
