Sara easily opens the lock . It was easy to open considering her try on the safe . Also after taking better look at the slippers Sara notices that the slippers have a heavy layer of dust on them, but that was obscured by the shadow of the desk . They still appear to be in good shape even through the layer of dust on them .

Is there anyway to estimate how much time has passed from the layer of dust on the slippers and the quality?

On closer inspection several layers of dust on the slippers have been recently blown off, lets say by someone letting in fresh air into the room perhaps . Other wise the slippers have been there a very long time as evidenced by the slipper shaped prints left from where they are picked up from as someone picks them to examine them closer .

The lock on the upper draw of the desk does not appear to be trapped to Sara, but she already new that as she open it first before actually checking for traps . So nothing apparently happens when she opens the lock and the draw to it .



P.S.: For Future Reference Check for traps first then decide if you want to still open the lock on what ever you are checking for traps . This is the last reminder on this subject I will give on the matter Also the object that you are checking for traps can have a trap on lock and the means of opening it(IE the lid of a chest) also . .

Everyone looking into the draw when Sara opens it please give me a spot check and then a Will save after that .

Good, somebody's keeping watch, as per the plan.

No search check needed since the panel is being directly pointed out to her by another character .

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I think Sara should do a quick search for traps before opening the valise. Although, maybe since it was hidden, it won't be boobytrapped...
