It's now round 2. It looks as if Everline did a lot in round 1: running back to the group/evading monsters(move action), shouting instructions (free action) handing out scrolls (move action), retreived a stored item (scroll)and using a scroll(standard action). We'll say the scroll reading counts as round 2's action, then.

Zandor uses his sword.

I need damage for burning hands, Tony. Alain was not struck by those AoOs, the lucky bastard.

Since I have cleared a path through these monsters and the monsters have used there AoO for the round, Alain will use his remaining move action to move past these bodies to get a more tactical position so as to not get hit is as often or as many . Also so as find the creepy bastard and kill him .

I need round 2 actions for these PCs-
  • Thom
    Benn
    Dorgio
Ail can declare Eustace's second round actions now- but it won't take effect until after the baddies make their attacks.

Reminder: check the GCP for your hit pint loss totals and conditions.

Everybody but Benn and the two sages took damage the first round.

INITIATIVE COUNT
Eustace is shaken. (See PM if you need to know why).
Shaken
A shaken character takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

Shaken is a less severe state of fear than frightened or panicked.
Alain, Benn, Dorgio, and Everline are all sickened, don't forget!
Sickened
The character takes a -2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

condition tracker-
Dorgio 5 points CON lost, sickened, lost 23 hit points
Benn 4 points CON lost, sickened, lost 15 hit points, shaken
Alain 5 points CON lost, sickened, lost 19 hit points
Thom 1 point CON lost, lost 5 hit points
Everline 5 points CON lost, sickened, lost 23 hit points
Eustace 2 points CON lost, lost 4 hit points (progress of disease is delayed), shaken
Ewan, perhaps you could post this in a single thread. It's cumbersome to find the right post among 64 pages and it will get harder as we go.

I rather doubt the fight will last too much longer. Either you will win...or you will all DIE, and very soon. Some PCs are fairly close to death now.

EDIT:The GCP and condition tracker is now on page 1 of this thread. It's part of the very first post. Everyone should look there for updates.
Is page 1 easier to remember than page 60?

I'd rather not have a new thread and clutter up the boards.

IMPORTANT:

Everline's HP loss for last round was enough to knock her into the negatives. We'll let the scroll use slide, since the player posted a lot of actions in round one. Nonethless, Everline is dying. She is in the negative hit points. I've doublechecked this.

Yes, other PCs may notice her slump to the ground. Stopping to heal her may provoke an AoO from the monsters.

Posting IC now, casting CMW on Everline. Hey maybe he'll even avoid an AoO!

I wish to recast my action please. How long is the path Alain has cleared? And is Theophile anywhere in sight? If so, at what distance? Where does the clear path lead to?

I have a possibility of boosting the party's speed by 30ft during 1 round. It could be a winner if Theophile were close and in sight.

Also it is a swift action. Does that mean I can cast it outside my turn? I'm not very clear on these new action types.

Please, suspend Eustace's action for the moment until I decide what should be best.

PS: yes, page 1 is way better.

You can't see Theophile, not for certain, but you do see someone or something moving about in the darkened tunnel mouth/passage/

Alain is headed that way.

So, is Eustace going to boost the party's speed?

It will take effect at the end of the round, assuming his spell is not disrupted. For your reading pleasure;
Swift Action
A swift action consumes a very small amount of time, but represents a larger expenditure of effort and energy than a free action. You can perform only a single swift action per turn.

Immediate Action
An immediate action is very similar to a swift action, but can be performed at any time — even if it's not your turn.

Casting on the Defensive
Casting a spell while on the defensive does not provoke an attack of opportunity. It does, however, require a Concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) to pull off. Failure means that you lose the spell.
I note that Dorgio has this feat-
Combat Casting [General]
Benefit
You get a +4 bonus on Concentration checks made to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability while on the defensive or while you are grappling or pinned.
Rolled for ya...

Thanks! I'm still on the loaner computer so I don't have my character sheet with me.
