Re: The Devil's Dreams OOC
So the things surrounding Eustace now, are they the demons or just more rat swarms? It sounds like the former from what you're saying but I just wanted to double check.

Demons and rats, but mostly demons. The swarms are running about, but not attacking anyone-yet.
There are more demons than Dorgio can count! The whole southern end of the room is packed with the beings. They seem intent on killing Eustace, in particular....

Re: The Devil's Dreams OOC
Ah, the risks I take for ecumenicism.
Okay, Dorgio's near death and too weak to try a physical rescue, but he will cast Holy Storm. I don't have my spell compendium on this comp so I forget the exact range, but Dorgio will try to center it somewhat in front of Eustace, hopefully clearing a path. But once the spell is cast Dorgio's got a high risk of becoming rat bait, so after he casts he's going to fall back through the tunnel with Zandor and the rest.

It's range is 20 feet. Its area of effect is a 20 foot radius, 20 feet high. The ceiling is definitely less than 20 feetm even at the very highest point. Dorgio can over the monsters ebwteen him and Eustace in the storm, no problem.

Re: The Devil's Dreams OOC
All afflicted PCs lose another point of CON now.
Benn and Everline actually lose HP because of this.
Benn lose 5 more, for 19 out of 30 lost.
Everline 4 more h.p, which knocks her to 0!
She is now disabled.

She is now disabled.
Disabled
A character with 0 hit points, or one who has negative hit points but has become stable and conscious, is disabled. A disabled character may take a single move action or standard action each round (but not both, nor can she take full-round actions). She moves at half speed. Taking move actions doesn’t risk further injury, but performing any standard action (or any other action the game master deems strenuous, including some free actions such as casting a quickened spell) deals 1 point of damage after the completion of the act. Unless the action increased the disabled character’s hit points, she is now in negative hit points and dying.
A disabled character with negative hit points recovers hit points naturally if she is being helped. Otherwise, each day she has a 10% chance to start recovering hit points naturally (starting with that day); otherwise, she loses 1 hit point. Once an unaided character starts recovering hit points naturally, she is no longer in danger of losing hit points (even if her current hit points are negative).

Alain is highly annoyed by this bastard . So as a move action he picks fungoid buddy of Everline . After picking up he look at it for all of half second the looks at the villain and then nods his head as he proceeds to to it right into the face of the caller from stupidity as a Attack Action:

The masked man's readied action has gone into effect. The villain now has a higher initiative count than Alain.
Remember, he had a couple of rounds to get ready for a breakthrough by the PCs- and that's not counting prepartions he may have made in advance of combat.
Rotwang, Toddlestone, Everline, and Gennifer fill/block the connecting tunnel during this round.

Thom can act if he makes a will save.
I'm going to run the next round in the small cave, as the party is now effectively split up for at least a round.

Okay- he is in the pool-cave. Monsters are running about, screaming and burning away to nothing. Action?

If everything appears to be under control in the pool cave and every pc here is still standing, Thom will move into the cavern which he last saw the rest of the party move into.

He has to move past/help the sages and the ladies to do that.

In that case Thom will help the ladies, the most severely injured first. If Everline's condition looks worse then it did before he will use his last remaining Lessor Restoration potion on her. Then he will use a potion of cure light wounds on her after.

She able to act again.
Combat is over- the holy storm has destroyed or scattered the monsters.
