I just discovered this show! I presume many of you like Sean Bean, well he is fantastic in this!

Anyone watched it?

I haven't seen it, but I think my parents have been enjoying it recently.

I've just finished watching season two. I like it. At times it seems they go for eerie or creepy and end up with what I would call an "artsy attempt" but other than that I dig it. Kind of a slow burn in spots (but not like Taboo, which does it better as a framing device, IMO anyway) but it's a good period piece of imagination inspiration, based off/inspired by familiar territory.

I'm a big fan of Sean Bean. Well, of his character Richard Sharpe, probably my third (sometimes second) favorite on-screen character of all time. Sharpe: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharpe_(TV_series)
"A very piteous thing it was to see such a quantity of dead bodies, and such an outpouring of blood - that is, if they had not been enemies of the Christian faith."
