The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante

I suggest people that like make-your-own-adventure games to look up this game. It is a Visual Novel RPG-puzzle hybrid. As in, you build your stats and make choices and these stats and choices lead you towards an outcome.
The illustrations are nice, the story is interesting, the lore about the world comes in good pacing. The choices are difficult because the times are difficult. I am at a point that I will have to either stand by my principles and see my family suffer or go for the "convenient" way.

The game is not horror, not at all. But it has elements of the Gothic romance genre. Sins of the Father, uncaring nature, prophecies, imperfect understanding of the divine, omens etc.
