What will be QtR XII subject?

Post by alhoon »

Shouldn't we start talking about it?
Since Libris Mortis and Van Richten's Guide to the walking dead are out, I propose a netbook devoted to UNDEAD.

Good point, alhoon! I actually had thought about this last night, but you were quicker in posting something than what I was able to do. Please find above a poll that I've added to your post for everyone to start voting on the next theme.

The deadline for issue 12 of Quoth the Raven will be March 10th, so let's start determining what this next batch of articles will cover. Once we get a fair turnout, the theme will be decided and everyone can start working.

I would be interested in seeing an issue covering the Frozen Reaches.

Yeah, nice Joke Jason.
I WANT ALL OF THESE :x
I proposed undead, but all of these work well with me. I really can't decide.

I'm voting for the "Freezing Fear" as well--and I promise, it's not just because I have some ideas simmering that might actually allow me to contribute to another netbook.

I think they all have possibilities, but we've looked at the Frozen Reaches as a possibility before and we've decided on other topics at least TWICE that I know of.

Isn't it time our favorite sub-zero horrors have their day? :D

Orient

I say the Oriental theme, as I'm doing an article about Raksasha similar to the one about Deepkin from QtR 9. I also find it an interesting and unexplored topic, unlike say the Walking Dead.

Oh man, I coudl easily put somehting together for any of these (if my pc doesn't die again, hehe), I would really like to see either Frozen Hell, Undead or Religion though. Frozen Hell is one that has been passed over a couple of times before though...

BTW everyone, vpte coz it matter, even if you don't plan to submit an article!!!! :)

So many choices. But I have to go with the walking dead. Hmm maybe a mixture of walking dead and haunted house. The spirits of several people still haunt the lonely house they were slain in by zombies and ghouls led by a Ghoul Lord. While nearby townfolk could have helped but stood by and did nothing.

Blade, fire, pistol or stake it matters not.. Even the undead can become true dead.

I say Freezing Fear, too. I have a weird fascination with cold, arctic conditions, ice and snow. And Tuktoyaktuk. ;)

Ironic, given my SN and how she died in the movie...

Yes, you can always submit material for Masque. While I didn't list it as an option for the theme, we accept Masque submissions for every issue.

March 10? but thats the Motley Crue concert.....thats not fair.....hehehehe

well, back on topic. i want to see the houses of horror. I have never read the adventure that its in, but House of Lament interests me a lot (for some reason i think i am getting this confused with another house. Lament is the one with the bleeding walls that turn into Blood Elementals, right?)

Freezing Fear is a definate leader at the moment, but how will the voting continue? ;)

Now I wish I had held the Red Eye and 3E Upir Lichy articles back a couple of years :P

Hmmm... perhaps I could knock up something on the weather systems in Vorostokov or some PrC's, etc for the domain?
