Got your mail and will answer you soon!

Anyone else who likes to contribute?

Edgar A. Poe MotRD netbook development concept

Now that the project is somewhat like *on the run*, here some instructions for all that want to contribute:

1. Write a mail to Rollenspieler.Enklave@web.de and tell me in which way you want to contribute.

2. Read at least ONE scientific comment on Poe's life/ work like for example Kenneth Silverman's well-known biography. May help you tremendously to back you fiction up against possible critics. :)

3. Whatever you want to do, write it inWord or OpenWrite 2.0 and send it to the upper mail adress until September 15th (Yep, that's in a long while, but we all have other stuff to do too, let's be realists :)), as the final layout phase will begin.

4. Be conscient that after September 15th, no more submissions can be accepted. If you contact me a day before and tell me you want to contribute, that's okay, but we gotta accomplish with the schedule...

5. Don't be scared if I take some days until I answer - I am quite busy with my university career for now, so free time is a rare gift... :(

What will be the purpose of the Netbook: Of course, to end up in Library of the Fraternity! :)

...Anyone got a clue how to name the book? Was thinking about *Crimson Hour*, for example...

If you're unsure, if you can find the time to contribute, just post here and talk about it. :D

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, if I write this in a *confuse* or *uneducated* way - it's just that have never done anything alike before and I want to do everything in the right way...

That's good to hear.

I know you're busy with exams and stuff. I'm just letting you know that I'm still collecting some basic details for what we'd discussed earlier in the year for this project.

And I moved a stop on and created a yahoo! group...
Discussion about the book's content is supposed to take place there from now on... (Such as *placing articles, exchanging docs etc.*)

Actually, picking up from my discussion about Poe's visions for his stories, I read some rather interesting articles online this morning that might help to put that original idea into a greater perspective. I see what I can "borrow" from the articles themselves, and then stop past the Haunted Palace.

:D Great idea! - Can you send a link/biliographical reference too, please!

*A bibliography shall also be part of the Poe book, as in every other RL sourcenook. :) *

Yesterday, my yahoo account crashed, and I lost control over all of my groups. So, I don't even know if the Haunted Palace is still around. Now everyone can consider the project failed, if we hadn't already.

Ah, broken is the golden bowl! the spirit flower forever!
Let the bell toll! - a saintly soul floats on the sygian river

- from Lenore, by E.A. Poe

Is this project really dead? I'm an English Literature Mmajor and would love to take a swing at this. (I'm a big fan of the Cask of Amontillado myself...)

I fear so...

Not only was the group silent for half a year, most of us who really wanted to be involved in a RL project moved on to other efforts... (Like the NPC netbok we are building, for example.) :(

However, if you want to do your own take on this, please feel welcome to do so! :)
