You know, about Billie Piper leaving.... I'm not so sure any more. Here's where I go the information:

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news05/051114a.php

But as I cruise around the net, I don't see any other sources saying that she's leaving. I really, really hope not. I think it's far easier to replace the Doctor than to replace Rose. Why? Because the show really does center around her.

The Christmas Invastion really showed me that. Mickey and Jackie are really staple characters now. If Billie leaves, I can't see how they'd keep Mickey and Jackie on as well.

clicky
Looks like the Canadian release of the complete 1st season is smaller...
Oh well, easier to store.

And I've heard rumours and rumblings that the Sci-Fi chanel in the States has picked up the first season.

It's not just rumor. It's true! Just go to the Doctor Who website run by the BBC.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cul ... 8760.shtml

It is definately official. Doctor Who in the States! Which means, U.S. DVD's baby!

"End of the World" is on tonight.

Seen all the episodes Sci-fi has put out so far, and loved'em. Was never a DR Who fan before this though, only ever watched the TV movie in '96 and before that parts of a couple of early serials on PBS (The Dead Planet, Invasion of the Dinosaurs).

Just watched season two's 12th episode Army of Ghosts and holy....

I shant spoil it for you but it is a must see episode, what with the twist at the end of this "to be continued" Episode.....

Let's just say that the aptly titled 13th episode "Doomsday" should be a right Battle Royale :D

Funny, those Dr Who villians don't look like they're equiped with claws...

(Dialogue edited to avoid spoilage):

"Identify yourselves!"
"You will identify first!"
"State your identity!"
"You WILL identity first!"
"IDENTIFY!"

"Our species are similair, though your design is inelegant."
"We have no concept of elegance!"
"This is obvious.."

"This is not war, this is pest control!"
"We are 5 million, how many are you?'
"Four."
"You would destroy us with only four?"
"We would destroy you with only one! You are superior to us in only one respect!"
"What is that?"
"You are better at dying!"

How cool is... damn... can I say or would American fans beat me to death?

Needless to say, Utopia and The Sound of Drums have left me salivating for The Last of the Time Lords.

SPOILERS!!!!

Despite the overacting I really do like John Simm as The Master (though overacting seems to be across the board for all the villains these days, ho-hum). Can't wait for Last of the Timelords this saturday, looks brilliant, I'm just keeping my toes crossed coz I really don't want Billie Piper back.

I'm wondering how they're gonna get the Paradox Machine out of the... Nah, I won't spoil it for the others, but I'm sure Drinnik knows what I'm on about ;)

I want a scene containing lots of anti-aging cream now, that'd be funny! LOL!

I was doing that all through the damn episode tonight! Damn Doctor WHO!!! grrr...

Have to admit that the final 15 minutes or so of the finalle was a bit of a disappointment to me. But like the other season finalles they just seem to be a little rished. Lots of build up, then it turns to pure cheese.

Voyage of the Damned for the X-Mas special might be interesting though, wonder if that's the one with Kylie Minogue appearing in, coz she's filming on Doctor WHO in early July.

Anyway, Weeping Angels? Anyone thought to use them in Ravenloft?
