Could you replace RedIce with fs2, please? I'd be really thankful.

And, unfortunately, no, I'm not satisfied with any of the templates so far. Both myth2 and Chronicles are sort of... unravenloftish.

Eak, I'd like to help you out but there are two problems;

1) Fs2 is not listed in the place to download styles, which means its going to be a pain to find.

2) some people have had some problems with that style - http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.ph ... hlight=fs2

Is there no other style you want?

What I'd love is a style that could a)fit my screen b)be plain, clear (without needless distractions) and easy to navigate and c)not disrupt the mood of Ravenloft...

Both fit my screen. Both are also so light, it is hard to get immerged in the topic of Ravenloft. The kargatane habit, I guess. There's sadly no other style available that fit my tastes better. Guess I'll just have to bite my lip really hard...

I think Chronicles is not an appropriate background. Compared to it, ashGrunge rules. Chronilces seems as if made by an amateur. Nope. Lets find something else. Please?

Personally, I can't stand neither Chronicles nor Myth.

I like the "half-screen" format that ashgrunge has, and I hope that something like that will be available after you take down ashgrunge, like pulpfiction, x-files, or ashfuel. None of them are particullary Ravenloftish either, but at least they don't hurt my eyes.

Ash grunge will remain an option for your persoanl profile. After all, the only rule for free technology like phpbb is that your own work is open for sharing. In deference to the author, it will not be our default, but neither are we removing it.

So, if you're a fan of ash grunge, it will stay here.

Ah. So there is only a problem if it's the default?

Ok, then I don't have a problem, but I still don't think you should make myth2 a default profile. Chronicles is OK, I guess, but it still doesn't send out the right vibes. I try not to be too negative, I swear, but I just want the community to have the best public profile possible.

The only problem I have with Chronicles is that I can't use the sidebar on smaller windows. Otherwise, it's perfect.

N, it's not as 'goth' as others, but it has clean lines, isn't annoyingly bright or illegibly dark, and implies a building. Like, oh, I don't know, a cafe?!

I don't care about the default so much, but please keep Chronicles as a choice in profile... Thanks!

Much as I like Chronicles, myth2 is far more versatile.

Yeah, myth2 is a good alternative, especially for those with smaller screens, or who prefer a darker look...

Both chronicles and myth2 match the rest of the Manoir pretty well... as such, either would be good for the default style... imho...
