Im just curious to see what you people have put on your christmas list. Personnally, since all that is ravenloft i get it when I can, I think ill ask for Stormwrack or Sandstorm to diversifie my campaigns or get some races of to get fluff about the non human races.

My wife and I skipped the whole list making/surprising stuff this year and just decided together what we wanted and bought it for ourselves.

I asked for books, music and some 40K stuff. Not much difference to the previous 10 years.

I know I'm getting the original artwork of the weresnake from CotN: Werebeasts, but apart from that I want the Dr Who boxset, a remote control Dalek, a Nintendo DS with Sonic Rush and Mario Kart DS, Absinthe and Amber and Ashes.

No real idea what I'll be getting yet, I don't need anything exactly so whatever I get will be a bonus.

A English-Russian Dictionary, maybe? No gaming books, though lots of literature. Nerdy, old, hard-to-read stuff, mostly. And litetrary criticism, which I LOVE to read.

I'm another one that always buys what I want during the year, so I don't have anything particular on my wish-list. What I really need is to update my passport, I'm asking relations for cash so I can do that. I've been getting a lot of domestic travel on the job, but am missing opportunities for international travel as my passport expired many years ago. My boss just got back from Venezuela, and the guy I share a office with is in Switzerland now; I am currently hosting collegues from France, but would love to make a reciprocal visit. If I don't get a new passport by Christmas, it will be my New Year's Resolution! (oh, yeah, I could put in for work to pay for it, but I don't want to tip my co-workers off on my plans; office politics, you know!)

Dude. Let me know how Princess & Dragon is. My family just got Carcassonne a few weeks ago, and we're completely hooked.

Anything by Jennifer Roberson that I don't already own (I just realized that while she wrote one of my top 5 favorite fantasy series of all time, I don't own any of her other books--what's up with that?)

Haven't played yet, but I read the rules. It's... interesting. I dunno if I like it or not. The Dragon runs around and eats your meeple. (sorry, I mean "returns the followers on the tiles he visits to their owner's supply") the Princess chases away Knights. On the bright side, there's a fairy that protects one tile from the dragon, and gives you points the longer you keep her, and there are magic portals that let you put a meeple on any tile already on the board. But I don't know if I like the destruction aspect. Carcassonne has always been about building, not destroying. If you don't have Inns & Cathedrals yet (it comes with the gold box set) it's a must have expansion. Traders & Builders, King & Scout, and the River are fun, but not essential. The Count I have but haven't played yet. Looks really mean. I highly recommend Carcassonne: The City, though. It's not an expansion, but a stand alone game. Very good, very beautiful. Only downside is it only plays with 4, and it's pricey (but you get what you pay for.)

While I'm talking about the stand-alones: haven't played Ark of the Covenant. The Castle is good for 2, but I only played it once, and I don't really see why it's better than just playing regular Carc or the City with 2 players instead. Hunters & Gatherers is very good. Much easier to teach, without a lot of the rule exceptions, and with some interesting new rules.

I made a list of all the stuff i want, but as history dictates, I will get a bunch of stuff people think I want more than what I wrote down.
But if that happens again, I get to go buy everything myself because I am being a ginormous cheapskate this year
