Avra takes one look over at the wounded knight - he must help him!
Avra charges the dog-beast which is attacking the paladin, yelling: "As it turns to face me, get your sword!"
Avra runs torads the beast, his hands cleched into fists...
[occ: I'm going to get really hurt now, right? ]

With a groan, Erdwin pulls himself to all fours, where he stays for a moment, recovering his breath. Looking up to see the woman who address him, he loses it again. He scrambles to his feet.
"Lady, there is no debt when I have but done what is right." Flushed and out of breath he gathers his broken weapons. "You are right...let us leave at once. Perhaps you, or your companion," he motions to Avra, "knows a place of safety?"

"Listen to them, children of the night! What music they make."

Erdwin resolutely stands.
"Lady," he addresses Shana, "I have given my word that I would aid the satyr's companions, and so I must. Perhaps it would be safer for you in the forests...you should go while those creatures are still distracted."
Then, looking at Avra, he calls out. "Ho there! Are there more where you came from? I was told to find a party around that object." He points to the pillar. Regardless of Avra's response, he begins headings towards it...

Stumbling out of the crater, you enter a thick forest of green, healty trees...
Quickly trying to get out of the reach of the ferocious animals, you make your way directly to the direction Erdwin pointed to...
What the paladin identified as a "pillar", however, is not what he thought it to be...
You find yourselves standing in front of a withered gate of blank iron.
In front of you, an imposing graveyard opens into the landscape,
with a scale of well over one mile in size...
While the site seems to rest in a pityful state of disrepair,
right in front of you at the entrance,
the silver statue of cloaked woman is planted into the earth,
well like as if this princess of the damned was overseeing the area...
Do you dare to enter and to face what might lie behind the old gates...?
Congratulations! You have completed Staunton Bluffs Episode II: Dreams of the Demoness!
Our game will resume its regular course on Saturday, June 25th, with Staunton Bluffs Episode III: The Ezrites...
Think this was too easy...? *Mwahahaha...*
It cannot hurt to do a bit of In-Character-Chat in the meantime... Exploring the graveyard, however, can...
Yours,
Rafael
