Weapon Question

I recently got my own copy of MotRD and was looking over the weapons available and saw the bowie knife, but no statistics for damage. Did I overlook them, or are they elsewhere? Thanks!!

Are you talking about the Boxed Set or the 3rd edition book?
Because if its the 3rd edition, it might very well be missing the information.

The DD answer this question in the errata. In short, they didn't make stats of them, and usefully suggest using the closest thing from the PHB.

In my 2nd ed. Boxed set, Bowie knives and Swordcanes both do 1d4. Saps do 1d2(Save vs. paralysis or fall unconscious if the attacker has the Backstab NWP). Ypu've probably got everthing else in the 3rd ed. hardcover.

Yes, it is 3e that I am talking about. I appreciate the assistance on the weapon. Why is it that they didn't put everything in the book?
