The following entries are now officially in the Player's Guide:

Vampires
Shadow Fey
History of the World
Church of Ezra

Forthose who have submitted, but don't have entries mentioned above, that means your articles are still being reviewed. :)

One gold piece = 1/50th of the Lb in gold. So I could make an item worth 2500 lbs of gold or about 1150 kg of gold...

Would you do it?
Oooh, these are some good calculations! But for the market price you have to pay half as raw materials, and normally you cannot sell something to its market price (normally), so let's say that from these 125000 half is raw materials and 20% is lost because of the general rule about PC sales (usually it's 50%, but there are ways to overcome it), so you keep something along the lines of 37500gp, or about 345kg of gold... not bad :D .

^we should be somewhere in the character optimization boards :P. What about Ravenloft character optimization boards?

PS: This is so off-topic that it hurts my eyes!

Just so to keep everyone informed: I'm including references in the Player's Guide to two of the most hated books in the RL line (according to the FoS, anyway): Champions of Darkness and Heroes of Light. That way its fair to everyone.

There's a special kind of artwork I'm making for each entry of the Guide, but if you want to submit that would be okay :)

Well, it's one of those French words that's spread beyond its borders. I'm in Western Canada and we're more a mix of British/US.

:D YOOHOO!!! :D

I was afraid my submission was too out-of-line...

BTW, What kind of artwork are you looking for? Perhaps I can make a couple of pieces (I'm no artist, though...)

The concept artwork for the Guide is that they should evoke a sense of mystery, of the enigmatic. As much as possible they should also be metaphorical; as an example, my art for Created doesn't show a golem but a portrait of a woman's face superimposed on a skull, while excerpts from the Kabalah float in the background. Similarly, the artwork I made for Vampires doesn't show the creature per se, but an old French letter with blood drops, roses and a human skull. :)

As inspiration, you can look into the art used on the covers of the Sandman comic books. I'll be posting an example of the art I've made so far on Saturday. :)

Hope this helps! :)

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but really this is the best place for this question.

What happened to 'The Player's Guide to the Land of Mists'? Submissions were closed, which I assume means that the content was ready.
