Andre stumbled a bit. Being shot for the first time will do that, especially when you've just had your nervous system realizing "This is what getting struck by lightning feels like!". It's in general an unpleasant combination, and not one suggested for public consumption. Having a wolf..dog..whatever shadow Loup was come over and decide that why yes, you would be tasty.
Well, yet more unpleasant, thankfully dealing with a cat long enough helped Andre on the fine tactic of preventing things from getting underfoot. After feeling Kuzan flooding the area with healing energy, he took a step back and tried to focus on Kuzan's shadowy doppleganger.
"Clamo" And sending a focused sound projectile his way for good measure.

OOC:Close wounds for 8 on myself, 19 on the trip check. 5 foot step to S4, then sound lancing Evil Kuzan. 54 on the roll to bypass miss chance, 27 damage DC18 for half. [/i]

Shadow Sam's defeat gets a nod of recognition towards Khalil from Tomas; he has not exactly forgiven his former friend, but now isn't the time to be petty. "Well-"

Tomas reels as he feels the ice cold blade of Khalil's double strike him in the back of the head, falling heavily on his knee, eyes widen with shock and pain.

"Just." Tomas breathes, "Just give me a moment, Miss Lily." Tomas pushes his leg, hefts forward, and leaps into the air, feet kicking twice as he hurtles over the heavy, thick treasure-laden bit of room, and finally landing with a THOOM on the ground, where Eisenwald just keeps running. Is he-he's coming close to Jervis...

"HHHAAAAHHH!" Tomas shouts, then, skirting to a stop just a heartbeat away from running into Jervis, twisting forward and whipping his sword at the wounded form of Shadow Jervis, seeking to slice the grim specter's throat open!

Eyes shimmering with fury, Tomas turns his weapon towards Khalil's Shadow, silently promising the umbral being the same fate as soon as he can catch up with him!

(OOC: Okay, charging to O6, made possible by making a jump check over the difficult terrain, then attacking Shadow Jervis, hopefully to finish him off. Here're my rolls.
Jump: 17+3: 20 made.

Attack: 12+16+2+2+2: 34
Damage: 5+5+2+2: 14)

Lia 5' steps away from the scary shadow-wolf-man to T3.

Lia then, at Kuzan's direction, casts a wall of force on the V/W line. It doesn't appear to be very useful but it is actually quite handy.

Otto skids backwards, draws a bead on the most dissolute-looking shadow in the immediate vicinity that doesn't have seven other people between him and it (which he is pretty sure looks something like Khalil), fires, warps space-time, and fires, all of which is exceedingly difficult to do when one is having a heart attack in the process.

"Somebody! Please! Be to healing the Loup as well!"

Moving to S1, 2 shots at Shadow Khalil with the Boots:

Shot 1: 22 attack, 21 regular damage +5 fire damage = 26 damage
Shot 2: 30 attack, 17 regular damage +5 fire damage = 22 damage

Also, when convenient, please keep the non-shadow puppy alive so that Otto's circulatory system doesn't explode. You can feel free to wait until everyone else *isn't* currently bleeding on the floor, of course.

The Tomb of Menetnashte
August 30th, 761, 1:30 PM; Day 165 of the Menetnashte Expedition

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

Kuzan casts Close Wounds on Edmund and then heals Kuzan, Lia, Andre, Sascha, and Edmund.
Charles uses Inspire Greatness on Edmund.
Sascha full-rounds Shadow Sascha, hits twice (other blows deflected by Recitation).
Andre casts Sound Lance on Evil Kuzan, who saves.
Tomas charges Shadow Jervis, killing it.

Shadow Kuzan casts Delay Death on Shadow Jervis.

Lia casts Wall of Force.
Otto shoots Shadow Khalil twice and kills him.

Kaitou Kage wrote:"NO!" Kuzan shouted and the command word flew from his lips immediately after. Harris suddenly stopped bleeding and the wounds closed up once more. Then he yelled out another word and the image of Garuda appeared again. "Nobody is going to die! Wake up, Ed!"
Awareness returned to Edmund’s eyes. A second later, he squeezed them tightly shut again, obviously regretting it. He was alive, that was something. He was also lying on the ground with his own evil shadow standing over him, poised to strike. Harris looked behind him, weighing what poor choices he had, then barreled to his feet as fast as he could, plowing past the shade of Guy. The wicked axe smashed into his side once more as he ran by. His own evil double also proved too skilled to evade, and the two handed longsword crunched heavily into his back.

This was not turning out to be a good day.

Harris decides staying on the ground isn’t working out for him, goes Full Defense and stands. He gets maimed by both shades for 45 damage.

Jervis glared at Tomas as the knight slashed his opponent’s throat open. The somewhat unpleasant reaction was interrupted by a gesture from Shadow-Kuzan, which pulled the dispersing mist back together and coalesced it back into humanoid form. A second sweep of the hand, and the mist seemed bolstered, the emerald lights flickering on in its eyes once more. Jervis grinned, readying his sword again in anticipation.

It was not to be. Sam slammed into his shadowy half-brother’s back, tackling it and hissing gibberish as he plunged the dagger into its back over and over and over. Black ichor gushed from its neck, the emerald lights dimmed and went out, the mist began to disperse, only forced together by the shadowy priest’s spell, and yet Sam kept stabbing it, his dagger ripping so far through the shadow-stuff flesh that it began to strike sparks against the floor.

Something screamed overhead, and the room exploded once more into fire. Lily lifted her fan to shield her eyes from the blast, quickly hitching up her skirts. “Jervis! Help them!” she commanded, running towards the rapidly dispersing flames. With a most un-ladylike jump, she dashed over the piles of treasure, speaking a command word and forcing healing energy into Sascha’s wounded body.

Jervis looked decidedly unpleased, but obeyed, trudging across the piles of treasure to roughly grab Kuzan by the arm. “Ezra, Regína cæli lætáre, allelúia,” he muttered, sketching the shield across his chest. An unpleasant, cold feeling began to crawl up Kuzan’s frame, like mist clinging to him even after he’d come inside, but his wounds began to close. “Ezra, Regína cæli lætáre, salva nos.” The feeling shot outward, crawling across the battlefield to cover all of you, the cloying sensation covering you entirely - yet you felt somehow stronger for it.

“Where is she?” Micheal yelled out to no one in particular, dodging behind the statues. There was a frantic ring to his voice, but there seemed to be some method to his madness. “Where’s the wizard? Point her out to me and I’ll make her visible!”

“Captain Harris!” Guy roared, as the rest of the conspiracy began to run to your aid. The militiaman moved to defend Edmund, sending Loup off to aid Charles with a sharp word and gesture. Holding his shield firmly in front of him, Guy moved in front of his former commander, warily holding his axe to the side. An opportunity presented itself - Guy struck his double heavily across the shoulder, snarling as he backed away once more.

Fassahd leapt forward, clearing the statues, the treasure, and Micheal in a single bound. Coins scattered everywhere as the jackal-beast slammed into the piles of gold, ripping into Charles’ shade with a single oversized claw - the beast seemed to have no concern for the ongoing duel between the two men. Khalil quickly danced after him, the dragoman’s flashing blades whirling into Shadow Sascha’s chest and arms. “Do you remember me?” Khalil asked, dodging in and out of range, tauntingly tracing black scars across the shadow-knight when it dared to act against him. “Do you remember my face, effendi? It was I who beat you while you were held down, like the decrepit old weakling you are. Fight me!

Khalil spun to the side, somersaulting away from the blackened knight and slashing at Shadow-Edmund’s legs. “We nearly killed you, all for gold,” Khali said coldly to the captain’s shade. “We beat you and left you bleeding. Fight me!

Shadow Andre cures himself, silently curses in fifteen different languages.
Shadow Kuzan casts Mass Cure Moderate wounds on himself, Shadow Jervis, Shadow Sascha, and Shadow Loup.
Shadow Sascha smites Sascha for 48 damage.
Shadow Charles moves, provoking from Charles, and tries to Hold Person Guy, failing.
Shadow Otto runs about, uses two charges on the Bracers of Accuracy to bypass Blur, and shoots Kuzan for 24 damage and 6 fire damage (30 total).
Shadow Lia Fireballs R/S-2/3, using a charge of her ring, hitting Otto, Sam, Sascha, Lia, Kuzan, Shadow Loup, and Andre, hitting for 44 damage, DC 19 reflex save for half. Sam and Shadow Loup both save and evade.
Shadow Harris walks over and crits Kuzan for 32 damage.

Micheal is dazed due to casting Celerity last round.
Sam casts critical strike, stabs Shadow Jervis for 88 damage.
Lily jumps over some coins, healing Sascha with her healing belt for 14 damage.
Guy runs down and swings at Shadow Guy, hitting for 22 damage.
Khalil dervish dances, hitting Shadow Sascha for 35 damage, and Shadow Harris for 14.
Jervis moves and uses Evil Devotion, giving himself, Charles, Otto, Lia, Kuzan, Andre, Tomas, Lily, Sam, Sascha, Guy, Harris, and Khalil DR 3/Good. He then heals Kuzan for 14 damage.
Loup runs over and attacks Shadow Charles, doing 14 damage but failing to trip.
Aya fails to stabilize.
Karsh tries to peck Shadow Charles for 2 damage.
Fassahd jumps, clears the statue, and charges Shadow Charles for 29 damage.

Khalil’s momentum was cut abruptly short by Loup’s shadow plowing into him. There were no blade strokes to elegantly dodge, no fighting style to counter, just a hundred pounds of dog launching itself forward like a catapult bullet. Khalil crashed to the ground, angrily kicking the shadow-beast off of him as he tried to regain his footing.

Guy and Harris closed in on the soldier’s double, the guard captain’s sword hovering protectively in front of both of them. The shadow snarled like a caged animal, ducking and surging forward with a speed that surprised both of them. Guy lurched in surprise as his double feinted, the black axe catching his shield and yanking it far to the side. The shadow whipped its weapon back around, ripping through Guy’s studded leather armor, only the slightest deflection off the metal preventing the blow from being instantly lethal. The axe hooked around and dragged Guy forward; the ex-militiaman staggered, his head bowed like a man at the guillotine. The shade raised its axe up high, bringing it down with inhuman force-

“NO!” There was a scream of metal and an explosion of steel. Guy looked up to see Harris in front of him, the axe blow that had been meant for his neck now deeply embedded in the captain’s chest. Edmund limply tried to lift his sword, as the strength poured from his body along with his lifeblood. “Nobody...”

The shadow-man ripped its axe free of Edmund’s flesh. Guy could only stare as the axe smashed into Edmund again and again, sending chunks of metal and blood everywhere. The sword slipped from numb fingers, clattering against the floor - even still, the captain stood in front of Guy, his own body the only shield he had left. “...is going to...

The axe came down, mercilessly.

Shadow Guy full rounds. Harris uses Stalwart Defense to grant +2 to Guy’s AC. Hits for 15, hits again for 20, which Harris uses Interpose to take and drops to -15 hp. Shadow Guy then shield bashes Guy for 8 damage, and misses the last two attacks due to Stalwart Defense.
Shadow Loup attacks Khalil for 7 damage, and trips him.

The Treasure Room's Ceiling is 20 ft. tall.

The big piles of treasure (the more brightly-colored, the cartons of gems, etc) are impassable terrain, and too unstable to climb upon.

The smaller piles of treasure (the golden coins) are Difficult Terrain, thus you need to take 2 squares of movement to enter one.

The Statues are on 6-foot tall bases and are generally considered Impassable, unless you use a Climb or Jump check of some sort.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Conspiracy is, at the moment, treating you as allies, so unless you attack them you can flank with them, move through their squares, etc.

The Shadows have a discernible anatomy. They can be sneak-attacked, suffer critical hits, etc. Also, Shadow-Loup does not count as a wolf.

The real Loup, on the other hand, does count, so you're not off the hook yet, Otto.

Lastly, House-Rule regarding Alignments: Shadows count as both Evil, and the alignment of the person they are shadowing for purposes of alignment effects. So Shadow-Otto can be struck with both a Smite Good and a Smite Evil. This should only be relevant for the Conspiracy, I believe, but informing you nevertheless.

"ED!" Kuzan screamed and belted out another prayer. Death would be forestalled. For now.

Defensive Delay Death on Ed. Andre, leave him down or he's just going to get killed again.

"Because of me, Khalil," Kuzan said, fighting back the urge to succumb to the blackness, "Because I am a healer. If you were smart, you'd all go after me too!"

Another prayer flew from his lips, even as he reeled from the greatsword and the flames.

"By the Eye," Kuzan shouted, "The wizard is by the Eye, a little forward to the right!"

Defensive/Mobile Cure light wounds mass. Targets are as follows: Kuzan, Jervis, Andre, Lia, Guy, Lily, Sascha, Khalil. NOT hitting Ed, but he will live if we finish this quickly.

Tumbling to M3

I am seriously running low on "Heal Everyone At Once" power, so I could use a little more help on some front with the most injured people.

Also, I'm serious. If you down Shadow Kuzan, this fight will be a hell of a lot quicker and easier. Now that the enemy ranks have thinned, put serious pressure on him! We don't want him trying to bring Jervis back up.

You all can ignore shadow Andre. He's trapped behind the wall and can't get out. Moreover, he can't target spells through the wall, so he's completely ineffective for this fight.

3 (dice) + 12 (caster leve) + 10 (augment) = 25 hp unless Andre uses Sacred Boost. Then the total is 30 hp.

Lia makes her save, Five-Foots to S2, fireballs the area that Kuzan pointed out (C/D 8/9) and uses all charges of her ring. Since it's impossible for me to roll greater than average damage, I end up with a 42 (average 49 with the ring). DC 19 half.

Tomas winks at Jervis because, well, turnabout is fair play.

Having Samael turn about AGAIN is kind of a bummer, but Tomas doesn't have time to think, even when he's touched by the corruption of Jervis's twisted faith. Why?

Because there's a clear path. Tomas runs, kicking up dust and a few spare gold pieces as he slides and forces his aching body to press onward, electricity ringing around the swordsman's body as he shouts and shoves Ivorsen forward, trying to pin Shadow Kuzan to the statue behind him! "BLITZ!"

(OOC: Charge to T9, power attacked smite. Here's my rolls.
Attack: 11+16+2+2+2+3-4: 31
Damage: 3+5+11+2+2+4: 27
Total Damage: 27 Miss Chance: 80, connects.)

Charles is strongly tempted to go after his evil alter ego again (still?) but Kuzan's advice is too salient to ignore. Stepping forward, he slashes one, twice, thrice at the shadowy figure of the antipriest. It's not that easy to stab a shadow, apparently, and Charles rather doubts he's done the thing any harm in the end.

It may be hoped, at least, that it was distracting.

Five foot step to S9 and full attack, with the Haste goodness, for 27, 18, 16 (sigh). I'm pretty sure that is one hit and one only, for 10 damage.

AND THEN!!! 19 on the miss chance for Blur. And Evil Kuzan escapes unscathed. Curses, foiled again!

[OOC: flubbed the reflex save again with a 5 for a total of 16......... thats another 44 damage *sigh*]
“Do you remember my face, effendi? It was I who beat you while you were held down, like the decrepit old weakling you are. Fight me!”
Sascha's gaze flickers slightly at Khalil, it takes a moment for him to register the barb was aimed at his double and not himself. Still the jibe was enough to spur the knight's burnign muscles on to yet another savage onslaught.

"WILL. YOU. DIE. YOU. BASTARD! " Sascha spits in his shadows face as he crashes the sword down again and again.

[OOC: 5 foot step to S5 so still considered flanking (with Guy) then full attack on Shadow Sascha

1. 4 +19 +1 haste +2 Rage +2 Insp C +2 flank -3 PA= 27
2. 19 +14 +1 haste +2 Rage +2 Insp C +2 flank -3PA = 37
3. 7 + 9 +1 haste +2 Rage +2 Insp C +2 flank -3PA = 20
4. 16 +19 +1 haste +2 Rage +2 Insp C +2 flank - 3PA = 39

crit threat confirmed with natural 20

damage:
1. 1 + 15 + 6 = 22
2. 8 + 15 + 6 x 2 = 58
4. 6 + 15 + 6 = 27
total - 107]

In another display of near inappropriate grace, Andre managed to avoid the brunt of the searing heat of the Fireball that Lia's invisible double let loose. She would get her reckoning for certian, but right now trying to grossly inconvenience Kuzan's shadowy double was higher on the list of priorities. Moving back, he sighted his target, exclaimed "Clamo!". a lance of sound issuing forth and striking the shadowy double. Not spectacular ghoul lord annihilating volume, but one made do.

OOC:moving to P3, then Sound Lancing Evil Kuzan. 32 damage, Fort DC 19 for half. Made the save against the fireball with a 25!

On three hours of sleep and nowhere near conscious enough for something eloquent, so! Making the save with a 21, moving to R7 while skirting Wascha's threat range (in the unlikely event that he's still up), and shootin' the eeeevil priest. In the similarly unlikely event that a 22 attack roll hits him, I bypassed the Blur with 47 and do 27 points of regular damage and 2 points of fire damage.

The Tomb of Menetnashte
August 30th, 761, 1:30 PM; Day 165 of the Menetnashte Expedition

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

Kuzan casts Delay Death on Edmund and then heals Kuzan, Jervis, Andre, Lia, Guy, Lily, Sascha, and Khalil.
Tomas charges Shadow Kuzan for 27 damage.
Charles misses Evil Kuzan due to Blur.
Sascha full-rounds Shadow Sascha into the ground.
Lia fireballs herself, who succeeds with a natural 20.
Andre casts Sound Lance on Evil Kuzan, who saves.
Otto shoots Shadow Kuzan and misses.

“And leave all three of you to die, how good of you, effendi,” Khalil spat back, trying to dodge Harris’ calculated blows. “I suppose that’s what you must think of-“ He was cut short as Loup’s shadow distracted him - he kicked out, and was rewarded by the captain stabbing through his leg. Khalil gritted his teeth in pain, managing to kick away as the shade drew back to strike again. The dragoman lapsed back into his brooding silence, too busy to talk any further, or perhaps having nothing more to say.

Edmund fell, his ravaged body sliding slowly off of Guy, where the savage blows of Benoit’s shadow double had pushed him. He crashed into the ground, dead to all eyes - his hands were limp, his eyes closed, his breathing stopped, and chunks of rib were visible through the holes in his armor. He was dead, save for the tiny, fragile mystic thread that still bound him to this life, the only sign of any hope. Guy, at least, did not seem entirely aware that his once-captain still lived. He growled as he hunched behind his shield, a low note of warning from deep in his throat. Shadow Guy flicked the blood from his axe as he approached his real counterpart, both men circling each other warily. Neither one seemed willing to take the first move. One false step would be all it took; Guy was deadly. Both of them were.

Guy stepped to the left, hoisting his shield in front of him. His double quickly mirrored him, blocking his strike. The two stepped apart from each other, Guy snarling as he reassessed his stance. He lifted his axe as he dodged forward, looking to hook the blade under his mirror’s shield-

-and a bolt of pure sound shot from behind, flowing around Micheal, crashing through Otto, and catching Guy directly in the back. The snap of his spine echoed through the chamber. Guy’s eyes widened in shock as his ribcage shattered in his chest, his teeth cracking from the pain. His axe slid from broken fingers, and he fell beside his former captain, blood pouring from his ears.

“No...” he whispered roughly, struggling to the very last. His amber eyes still roiled with unholy rage, even as the light dimmed out of them - in the end, even death could not quench Guy’s fury.

The chamber shook once more as Andre’s shadow struck the entrance with a bolt of sound, aiming to bury you all within. Though the floor rocked with the power of the blast, the tunnel remained intact - it seemed the work of a thousand priests would not yield before him so easily.

Harris is down and out cold.

Shadow Andre attempts to Sound Lance the tunnel into collapsing. The tunnel says no.
Shadow Kuzan moves, uses mobile spellcasting at V9, uses all of his ring charges (he did not end up using one before because you can’t do that apparently), casts Mass Cure Light wounds on himself, Shadow Harris, Shadow Guy, and Shadow Loup for 40 hp.
Shadow Charles uses Inspire Greatness on Shadow Guy.
Shadow Lia casts Resonating Bolt, hitting Micheal, Otto and Guy for 40 sonic damage, DC 19 Fortitude for half. Micheal soaks all the damage, Guy fails the save with a natural 1 and drops to -12.
Shadow Harris full-rounds Khalil, missing twice but crits for 67 damage.
Shadow Otto runs about, activates his boots, shoots Lia for 25 damage and 1 electricity, and rolls a one to hit Andre.

“Guy!” Micheal screamed out. “Guy, no!” For a moment, de Angelis seemed too lost to do anything, but he managed to yank something from his vest, his face splitting into grief and anger. “Damn you,” he choked, crumpling the paper he held now in his hands. The fragile parchment crumbled into dust, and Micheal hurled it at where Kuzan had pointed him. It exploded into a flash of glitter and light, the shimmering dust falling about Shadow Lia like a mantle. You could see her clearly now, flying above the chamber’s floor like an avenging angel.

“Kill her!” Micheal cried, somewhere between a scream and a sob. “Somebody kill her!”

Sam ran down, skittering across coins as he went, his face a bloodless mask of insane denial. “No no no no no!” he shrieked, leaping through the air to tackle Guy’s shadow. The remaining Benoit roughly shoved him aside with almost no effort whatsoever, moving to attack Tomas.

Sam wasn’t done yet. He suddenly vanished, appearing behind Guy as the axe crashed into Tomas’ side. “I won’t let this happen!” Samael yelled, jamming the stiletto between two vertebrae and twisting. “It’s like Kuzan said, right? No one’s going to die. I won’t let it happen. Not when we’re this close. Just trust me. Trust me.” An insane laugh ripped itself through his glassy smile.

The shadow Guy staggered, his once lethal blows now weakly clanging off Tomas’ armor. Sam giggled madly again. “That doesn’t count. I barely touched you. This isn’t killing. I’m not killing anyone. No one is going to die. I WON’T LET THIS HAPPEN!” He was screaming now, his fragile smile shattering like a bullet through glass. The Borcan stabbed wildly as he scrabbled madly at Guy’s back.

Lily stepped further back from the fray, the only reaction to what was happening a thin, controlled frown. “You want him dead, Kuzan?” she asked quietly, mostly to herself. “You’ll have it.” She waved her fan at the shadowy-priest, trying to unravel the enchantments that covered him head to toe. From the look on her face, she was not pleased with the results, but she snapped her fan shut with a flick of her wrist and pointed it at him again. The ray of energy shot forth once more, sucking itself into Shadow Kuzan’s form - he seemed to slow as the magic weighed him down.

Fassahd lunged forward, his teeth clicking the air in front of him. A chunk of shadow-stuff pulled itself from Shadow Kuzan’s side, pouring black ichor and mist all over the floor...

Jervis five-foots up, casts Strategic Charge, and full rounds Shadow Harris, hits twice out of five attacks, smiting him for 86 damage.
Micheal pulls out a scroll and casts Glitterdust - Shadow Lia makes the save and is not Blinded, but is now clearly visible.
Sam takes one look at Shadow Kuzan’s Blur, shakes his head, casts Hunters Eye, jumps down, casts Swift Invisibility, and stabs Shadow Guy for 15 damage, and Sickens and Shakens him. Sam then becomes visible again.
Lily duel wand wields, Targeted Dispels Kuzan, only gets the Greater Resistance, and Dizzys Shadow Kuzan.
Khalil goes Full Defense and stands up safely.

Aya stabilizes!
Fassahd casts Silent Bloodwind, and full-rounds Shadow Kuzan (bypassing the Blur) for 63 damage.

Well. He ran away.

Gritting his teeth, Charles turns back in the direction of his real target. "Good dog!" he snarls, seeing his shadow self fall at Loup's attack. "You've earned all that bacon. Good bird, too."

Wading across the piled coins, he raises Shadowfinger and strikes, plunging the dark and shadowed blade into his imitator's dark and shadowed form and feeling it bite hard. "Marteau-ennemis!", he grates out.

Moving to S11 and attacking Shadow Charles. 36 to hit, on a rolled 18, which is a critical threat (hooray rapiers!), 28 to confirm critical, so I am pretty sure that's a crit. Damage is 16, putting Shadow Charles at -12, unless he has special hit point specialness of some kind.

"Khalil, I'm sorry," Kuzan pleaded, "I jus--NO!" The priest cut off and shouted out a holy word that was becoming increasingly familiar just as Guy was falling to the ground. "Live!" he cried urgently, "You will not die here!"

Guy's close wounds heals him for 9hp

The priest stepped forward and raised his hands. "Lord Vishnu," he called out, "Great Preserver of Life, I beg you, here in this foreign land, help us!" The god answered and his four-armed, dark blue form appeared superimposed on Kuzan for an instant. Then, the god's healing shot out from Kuzan and surrounded the living around.

The priest looked haggard, not just from his own wounds. He spared a nod of gratitude at Lily, but his shoulders were slumping despite the battle adrenaline. He shuddered to think what the cost to his body of channeling all this divine energy would be. Then he collected himself some and pushed those thoughts aside. There'd be time enough to wallow in his own misery later...

Moving to R3 and casting mass cure light wounds. Thank goodness for rolling max for a change. It seems like Vishnu did listen to Kuzan. Targets are Andre, Lia, Jervis, Khalil, Sascha, Lily, Otto, Kuzan.

Tomas, I'm sorry, you're just too far away for me to help this turn :\

8 (dice) + 12 (caster level) + 10 (augment) = 30 hp healed to all targets.

That's it for mass cures. Hope you guys can take these folks down soon. Fortunately, shadow-me is slowed so he won't be able to move around the whole map. Just half the map.

Lia's action will come later. Rest assured she's out for blood and is going to seek the death of someone this turn.
