WOTC Creature Competition - Tournament Brackets 2010

Post by Catman Jim »

Oh, yes, it could be Strahd vs Lord Soth in the third round, Undead Division.

Let's see lots of votes for the characters from our Favorite Setting, Ravenloft!

I actually have as my Final Four: Orcus, Asmodeus, Warduke, and Keraptis, with Orcus taking it all at the end.

I have Graz't taking it all, Strahd, Meepo, and Emrikal all made solid runs though. Guess I am a sucker for the underdogs....

The winners in the game are determined by weekly voting, acting to 'buff' up the most popular characters for their next matchups. Let's be sure to buff Strahd each week to show WOTC that we support our setting. :Strahd:

I ended up with Asmodeus. I guess being a 1E n 2E fan does that for me.

Jarlaxle came close! I prefer him to Drizzt anyday.

Bargle for me. He's one of the reasons I pick wizards as my favorite class.

Even sadder, I knew them all, but then I'm turning 50 this year, and have been into D&D from the start. :azalin:

Lord Soth vs. Strahd von Zarovich - that's a tough one.

I love Soth, but I had to go with Strahd, it's kind of funny but they were both creations of Hickman/Weiss.

Soth took his category-edging out Strahd by a hair, but i a one-on-one, Soth would take it. Ultimately, though, it was Orcus vs. Tharizdun, and i went for Orcus because undead are so much cooler than Lovecraftian horror

I felt Asmodeus could beat Orcus ;)
