PC Actions
Agale hits FW11 and FW12 for 17 HP and -5 to Attacks, blows up a thug.
Celeste deals 36 damage to Sodalis, Dazes (save ends), and Reeling Torment 1 Square (save ends)
Mercator deals 32 Radiant damage to Sodalis.
Nicolas gives Remy +3 Temp HP, misses Sodalis, but anyone hitting him regains 5 HP till the end of the battle.
Lia hits FoS 10 and SH1 for 23 damage.
Kerrian hits Sodalis for 10 Radiant, Blinds him, and lays down two zones (see below the map for what they do).
Nerit blasts Sodalis for 15 Lightning damage.
Rex leaves.

Recharges:
Thierri recharges Herme’s Fire
Andres recharges Frightful Force
FW1 does not recharge Strangling Darkness
FW3 does not recharge Strangling Darkness

Nerit wrote:"What did you say? What did you say, Theroux?" she hissed.
“My patroness, Nerit.” Theroux said, grinning from ear to ear, despite the watery blood running from his hand. He had very white teeth, and they gleamed in the darkness. “La Belle Dame sans Merci, the Oracle of Waters, the Lorelei. The lovely slip of a water-fey who’s going to save all of our hides tonight.”

Andre moves down and uses Frightful Force on SH1, FW3, FW10. Hits all 3, dealing 11, 13, and 9 Thunder damage respectively, and pushing each of them 3 squares back. He then uses an action point and allows Night Terror and Katja to shift 2 squares and make a Basic Attack. (I’ll handle this in their sections)

Night Terror shifts over, and makes a basic attack against Summoned Horror 1. SH1 suffers a further basic attack due to starting in Night Terror’s Unspeakable Nightmare aura, and then three more basic attacks as Night Terror uses a Claw Flurry attack on SH1. So that’s 5 Claw attacks, +13 vs. AC. Three hits, dealing a total of 58 damage. This leaves SH1 with 5 HP, so…

Night Terror then spends an Action Point and tosses an Agony of Dreams vs. Will at SH1 and FW1, FW2, FW 3, FW4, and FW10. Hit, hit, miss, hit, hit, hit. Each of those takes 18 Psychic damage (SH1 dies) and is Dazed (Save Ends).

This bloodied FW1, so Night Terror finishes off with a Devour Dreams vs. Fortitude as an Immediate Reaction, which hits exactly, dealing a further 15 damage, and FW1 is Weakened (Save Ends).

Thierri is Dazed due to watching FW13 die, so he just tosses a Herme’s Fire onto Kerrian, giving him +9 Temp HP.

Alice uses a Dessicating Curse on Sodalis, hits, dealing 11 damage and Sodalis takes -2 to his defense till the end of Alice’s next turn.

Richard shoots Sodalis with a rifle, dealing a further 11 damage.

Katja moves south, and shoots FW3 with a crossbow twice (one for Andre’s buff, once as her regular attack). Misses once, criticals once for 13 damage.

Cerise double-moves to get into a better position.

Remy tosses a Seeking Winds at Sodalis and whiffs completely. Goes invisible as a minor action and moves away.

Athene sneaks over and waits for a chance to murder the De Casteele brothers.

Gauvain moves over to Sodalis, action points, and attacks with four Ravenskull Scythes vs. AC, hitting with all four for 46 damage and 10 ongoing fire damage (save ends). Then a Heat Metal vs. Reflex whiffs with a natural 1. Well, nobody’s perfect.

FoS Wizard #1 uses Blinding Shadows vs. Reflex on Night Terror. Misses.
FoS Wizard #2 uses a Strangling Darkness vs. Fortitude on Night Terror. Hits for 0 damage, NT is Restrained and takes Ongoing 15 Necrotic (save ends). Not being dazed, he then scoots out of melee range.
FoS Wizard #3 uses Blinding Shadows vs. Reflex on Night Terror. Hits for 15.
FoS Wizard #4 uses Blinding Shadows vs. Reflex on Night Terror. Hits for 10
FoS Wizard #10 uses Blinding Shadows vs. Reflex on Night Terror. Hits for 12.

Agale wrote:"Throw down your arms and surrender yourselves, you have already lost the day!"
This may have been unwise.

Simon de Casteele uses Word of Pain vs. Will on Agale. Hits with a 27, dealing 15-10=5 Psychic Damage, and Agale is Immobilized (save ends).
Jacob de Casteele uses Word of Pain vs. Will on Agale. Hits with a 32, dealing 8-10=0 Psychic damage and Agale is Immobilized (save ends).
FoS Wizard #9 uses Strangling Darkness vs. Fort on Agale, misses with a 17.
FoS Wizard #11 uses Strangling Darkness vs. Fort on Agale, hits with a 22 (this is after the -5), Agale is Restrained and takes Ongoing 15 Necrotic (save ends both).
FoS Wizard #12 uses Blinding Darkness vs. Reflex on Agale, misses with a 17.
Summoned Horror #3 moves over and attacks Agale with 2 claw attacks vs. AC. Hits twice with two 28s, dealing 13 and 11 damage respectively, and Agale is Grabbed (escape DC 19).
11 Thugs move together and open up crossbow attacks on Agale. Eleven Crossbow attacks vs. AC. 26, 14, 26, 24, 32, 20, 30, 19, 22, 30, 17. That is 6 hits, for 8 damage apiece, total of 48 physical damage.

That’s a total of 77 damage, a grab, an immobilize, a restraint ongoing damage, and, which is enough to kill Agale dead. Cronax, let me know what you use the Intellect Fortress on, and I’ll negate the relevant damage. I’m not adding any of the effects/damage to him yet because of this.

Sodalis uses Arcane Secret to make a save versus Daze first. Passes with ease. He takes 10 Ongoing fire.

Standard Action to use The Beauty of Chaos, Close Blast 5 vs. Reflex. This targets Alice, Richard, Kerrian, Mercator, and Celeste. 20, 28, 16, 33, 31. Miss, Hit, Miss, Hit, Hit. Richard, Mercator, and Celeste each take 21 Necrotic Damage and are Dazed (save ends). Alice and Kerrian take 10 Necrotic damage. Celeste and Mercator are both now bloodied.

Minor Action to use Tail Slash, Melee 2 vs. AC on Gauvain. Natural 1, so whiff.

Saves!
FW1 saves versus Daze: Success
FW3 saves versus Daze: Fail
FW4 saves versus Daze: Success
FW10 saves versus Daze: Success
FW1 saves versus Weakness: Success

Sodalis saves versus Reeling Torment: Success
Sodalis saves versus Ongoing 10 Fire damage: Success, Alice makes him reroll, still a success.

"Aegis multiphasia!" Lia shouts -- and arcane force bursts outward from her slight body, enveloping all those who came in with her, as well as the ally who arrived once everyone was here. The magic settles on your skin, then seeps down into it, where it settles like a rather odd suit of armour.

"Move, move, move!" Lia snaps at something invisible -- which seizes a metal flask from her pocket and floats up the corridor, heading towards Agale.

"Sagitta magica, omne erroe vacuav vole!" Lia chants next, and levels her staff on Sodalis. A dart of pure force flies and strikes the feline beast without error.

(OOC: Minor action: Lia casts Mass Resistance. Every ally within a burst gains resistance 9 vs. Necrotic damage until the end of the encounter.
Standard action: Lia casts Magic Missile at Sodalis for a guaranteed 11 damage.
Lia does not move from her present location, but she orders one of her Unseen Servants up to the front with a Healing potion. It moves to M30.)

Mercator's star-form staggers, buffeted by the violent energies unleashed by the phane, but the crown on his brow does not wink out, and a point of light lances from it to touch the fey.

Minor to sustain Crown of Stars, 26 to hit, 8 radiant damage (no roll) plus 1 curse damage).

Nicolas mouth drops open as he watches Agale open the door. In fact he's halfway through a sentence of something like "NOOOOO shut the door you idiot!" when hell, fire, brimstone, pointy things and general pain rain down on the lawyer. The poet sighs for a moment before shouting rather loudly "Your honour, I'd like to recall my legal counsel for further discussion before we press on with the cross examination. Now get up Signore and close that bloody door!"

It might not have been the most eloquent resurrection you had seen but if seemed to have some effect. If nothing else the lawyer wasn't bleeding anywhere near as heavily as before.

That job done, Nicolas turns his attention back to Sodalis. Frankly the guy had ticked the poet off, of course he was the big bad evil guy who needed killing regardless, but he was in danger of upstaging a certain M. De Castaigne with hsi theatrical appearance and (probably closer to home) seemed unaffected by said M De Castaigne's last attempt to hamstring him.

"Monsieur you force me into a situation and deeds I would prefer to avoid, on your head be it." Nicolas says with finality and a winsome salute. Then his face is suddenly serious, and in a vicious movement bites hard down on his left hand, sinking his teeth to the bone, reopening an old wound and letting blood run freely. This was far more vicious than the ritual Andre has just performed, but then if you were going to be patron to someone as annoying as Nicolas you'd certainly demand higher stakes.

For a moment he holds the hand aloft allowing blood to splatter to the floor, then in a hoarse voice he begins to sing a single verse softly:

"Fill my whole life with your heart of stone,
you're my suicide, the sweetest love I've known
"

Its suddenly as if all the chandeliers go out at once around the poet, the only points of light being the glistening blood on his hand and his pale white face. "Come my love...Show him your power , blind him with your beauty." As the whisper leaves his lips something sinuous and dark rises up behind Nicolas, something terrible yet beautiful curling her arms protectively around him for a moment. Then in flash of emerald eyes, too green to be anything remotely human, and burst of flame red hair, the creature launches itself on inky black wings straight for Sodalis rushing at him with impossible speed and forcing its way into his mind.

"Enjoy" Nicolas rasps clutching his now utterly unbloodied hand to his, whatever that was had slaked its thirst prior to leaving him.

"Now time for my climatic scene i do believe. Friends if this should prove to be my last performance just remember me as a drunken sot you'll be pretty damn close to the truth. Now how does Eisenwald do this.. ah yes I remember now." And with that he charges forward, sword trailing sparks along the floor, sparks rather smaller than Tomas usually managed, and sparks that threatened to set fire to several people on the way rather than being radiantly benevolent. Still the blow he strikes the shadowy centaur thing brings forth an ear-splitting clap of thunder backed by the primal roar that is ripped from his throat, forcing the bestial thing back.

"Splendid" the poet notes breathing hard, admiring his handiwork and bracing himself (invisibly) for the inevitable pine-cone prefaced retribution.

Immediate Reaction: Word of Life on Agale enabling him to spend a surge, as he got whipped by everyone can I just choose to apply the -5 penalty to defenses until end of Nicolas next turn to Simon de Casteele, rather than work out who it exactly was?
Standard: Mire the Mind on Sodalis 18 + 14 + 1 vs Will hits for 10 psychic damage and Nicolas and all allies are invisible to Sodalis until the end of Nicolas next turn. Nic also gain +2 bonus to stealth checks until end of encounter.
Move Action: Move to K32
Minor Action: Shift to I31 thanks to Kerrians zone
Action Point spent.
Standard: Thunderblade on Sodalis 11 + 16 + 1 Vs AC just hits for 30 thunder damage and Sodalis is slid up diagonally right two squares. Finally Nicolas now gets to slide enemies 2 squares to a space adjacent to an ally on each use of an at-will until the end of the encounter.
Phew..

Nerit gaped at Andre. "That's it? That is she?" She paused to watch Agale murder himself, and with Nicolas' succubine summon rushing past her, Nerit couldn't help but cut her amazement short.
"We must speak later!" she called to both men.

"Prodito! Feel Doherty's sting." The nun laughed, perhaps in part from the fellowship of her allies, and the opportunity to right a wrong. A shock of sickening green burst around the misty centauroid, screaming in high-pitched voices as it dissipated about the chaos creature.

Standard: Chromatic Orb on Sodalis - 33 vs 24R
Hit, 26 poison damage, 5 ongoing poison damage (save ends)
Nerit should be at Q32, for map reference.
Nerit is resistant to 9 necrotic.
Nerit has +1 to attack.

There was an ear-piercing shriek from behind you.

"Sainted Lady! Comr--"

Wait, behind you? Those of you with the inclination to do so turned to check briefly, and yes, Celeste was somehow all the way over there. She could apparently run very fast when nobody was looking.

Anyway. "Sainted Lady! Comrades: in our zeal to quell the influence of those perfidous arcanists which seek to overmaster our Nation, I fear we have inadvertently awakened some manner of Slavering Monstrosity, the which poses an hitherto-unsurpassed jeopardy to humanity as a whole! O!, that our own noble cause should be trammeled to dust alongside those of such nefarious conspirators, at the talons of such a Profoundly Unspeakable Aberration Against Nature!"

Several things may have occurred to you. First, Celeste barely ever screamed at anything, as she did not have enough common sense to be afraid of anything. Second, her speech did not contain any overt untruths. Third, if you did not know Celeste well, and were, for example, a perfidous arcanist of some kind, you might well start to believe that Sodalis was by far the most dangerous creature in the building, and deserving of your sole attention for the present.

Celeste uses Narrow Escape to take half damage from that last attack and teleport her to T30 (putting her at 54 total, including the 5 HP she got via Nicolas from attacking Sodalis last turn), where she utterly flubs a Spectral Claw and two saving throws against Daze. She does however, make a 24 on a Bluff check aimed at convincing the FoS to concentrate on Sodalis--a 29, if the lack of actual lies means it counts as a Dipomacy check.

Kerrian growled as this situation went what could only be called somewhere south of good. And Celeste was convincing, but really evil mages weren't exactly known for their civic mindedness. But for right now, there were other things that needed to be dealt with. Namely, a giant evil transdimensional cat thing.

Right, about that.

Kerrian focused his attention on Sodalis, baleful feline thing that it was and the air changed. No longer the almost musty air of government buildings, it was filled with the scents and smells of harvest time, of reaping. Old life giving way to new. Unfortunately for Sodalis, it happened to be the old life in question. Unfortunately for Kerrian, interacting on a spiritual medium with an entity from possibly outside the commonly held continuity of reality wasn't exactly easy.

Seeing that failing to take hold, Kerrian snarled, repressing a comment that nice Vebereker men simply did not use. He refocused his mind, senses wavering between here and more than here, pulling a second spirit into existence near Agale as the first approached the feline foulness. Cats and Dogs mortal enemies, even on higher metaphysical planes. Good for Agale, bad for sodalis.

OOC:Standard:Spirit of Autumn's reaping on Sodalis. Wis vs fort, roll a 1. So 9 necrotic, Sodalis gains Vunerability 2 to all damage (save ends), and All allies within 10 squares of Kerrian heal 5 hp.

Move to move Spirit companion adjacent to Sodalis (I34 if unoccupied, closest adjacent that can be reached in 5 if it is taken or that isn't adjacent),
Minor to summon a second spirit companion at L28.
Then Action Point, and a spring renewal strike against Sodalis. It is a hit! Wis vs Fort of 31, for 18 untyped damage, 20 with vunerability, and Agale may spend a healing surge, and regain Surge +6 hp.

Readying a Spirit's Shield for if Sodalis moves.

The flesh may have been weak, but the will was nothing short of adamant. The Tollere's body swirled with energies both deadly and soothing and blood, oh so much blood. But still he stood, a deranged smile cracking across his lips as if to intone Is that all you've got!?

Immediate Interrupt: Intellect Fortress to Deflect 3 thug crossbow bolts (Preventing me from dying outright)

Free Action: Infernal Wrath burns the thug who rolled a 32 to death for his impudence.

Move: Breaking out of the grab, using Bracers of Mental Might.
Total of 18, not quite enough. rerolling with the Dynamic Belt. 24 breaks me out, unfortunately the restrained means I can't shift.

Minor: Cry for Mercy on myself. +4 to all defenses and does not provoke OAs until the end of next turn or until I attack.

Standard: Second Wind (Another +2 to all defenses)

By my calculations, I should now be at 45 hp with 3 surges spent.

I save vs the immobilize, but not the restrained/weakened

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

PC Actions
Agale
Celeste makes a Narrow Escape, moves, and tries to convince the FoS to attack Sodalis, a hard sell since they don’t even see him at the moment.
Mercator deals 9 damage to Sodalis, heals 5.
Nicolas heals Agale for 15 HP, inflicts a -5 to defenses on Simon de Casteele. He then deals 10 psychic damage, heals for 5, and effectively blinds Sodalis for a round. Then hits Sodalis for a further 30-10=20 Thunder damage, heals 3 more up to full.
Lia casts Mass Resistance Necrotic 9, it hits pretty much every ally on the map except Athene and Remy. Tosses a Magic Missile at Sodalis for 11 and heals 5 HP.
Nerit hits Sodalis for 26 poison damage, plus 5 ongoing poison damage. She heals 5.
Kerrian gives Sodalis Vulnerability 2 to all damage (save ends), 9 necrotic damage, Heals everyone around him for 5 HP (except Andre, NT, and Katja, who are out of range), and heals himself for a further 5. Then action points to hit Sodalis for a further 20 damage, and healing Agale for a further 21. This bloodies Sodalis.

Correction: Celeste would not have gained 5 HP back for attacking Sodalis last round, it only kicks in this round.

Recharges:
Thierri for Herme’s Fire: Failure
Andres for Frightful Force: Success
Night Terror for Agony of Dreams: Failure
FW1 for Strangling Darkness: Success
FW2 for Strangling Darkness: Failure
FW3 for Strangling Darkness: Success
FW9 for Strangling Darkness: Failure
FW11 for Strangling Darkness: Failure
Sodalis for The Beauty of Chaos: Failure

Ongoing: Agale takes 15-9=6 Necrotic

Nerit wrote:"That's it? That is she?" She paused to watch Agale murder himself, and with Nicolas' succubine summon rushing past her, Nerit couldn't help but cut her amazement short. "We must speak later!"
That is merely a servitor.” Theroux said, looking proudly at the Dream Lord. He seemed to have slightly forgotten that there was a whole in his hand, smiling widely as he cast bolts of solid sound at his one-time colleagues. “I’ll arrange introductions. Promise!”

Andre shuffles down and tosses a Frightful Force at FW3, FW4, and FW10. Miss, Hit, Hit, dealing 21 and 10 damage respectively, and pushing them 3 squares. This bloodies FW10.

Nt takes 15-9=6 Necrotic damage. Night Terror tosses off a Devour Dreams at FW10, which barely hits, but inflicts 18 damage and FW10 is Weakened (Save Ends). He then uses a Minor Action to put an Inflict Waking Nightmare on FW1, rendering that worthy Stunned (Save Ends), Aftereffect: Slowed (Save Ends). Then he’s restrained, and so can’t do anything else.

Thierri wanders over and tosses a Dazzling Lights at Sodalis. Misses.

Alice tosses another Dessicating Curse at Sodalis, dealing 14+2 damage and inflicting a -2 to all defenses for a turn.

Richard shoots a rifle at Sodalis. Hits on the nose, dealing 9+2 damage and healing 5.

Katja moves forward and stabs FW3. Another Natural 1.

Cerise taps the Summoned Horror #3. It takes 8 Psychic damage and Ongoing 5 Psychic (Save Ends), First Failed Save Blind (Save Ends)

Remy tosses another Seeking Wind at Sodalis. Hits, dealing 13+2 damage and knocking Sodalis Prone.

Nicolas wrote:"Your honour, I'd like to recall my legal counsel for further discussion before we press on with the cross examination. Now get up Signore and close that bloody door!
Even as he looked, Nicolas was given view of a most peculiar, and awe-inspiring sight. Athene. She reared up from the shadows, pouncing forth like a cat or bird of prey. Swiftly, she slashed at Simon de Casteele, not with any knife or sword, but with claws, long talons, black as night. He fell, and she tore into him, slashing at his brother as she spun. There was blood, and one could see that she moved gracefully, far too quickly for any mere human. She saw Nicolas, and offered him a brief, sardonic smile, the tip of her tongue licking at the blood that splashed her face.

Then she retreated, into the far corridor, and a good third of the Fraternity Mages came after her. One had a sinking feeling that in her bloodlust, Athene had bitten off far more than she could survive.

Athene uses Swoop vs. AC on Simon de Casteele, hitting and dealing 15 damage, pushing him back a square, and knocking him Prone. She then spends an action point to use Strygian Fury, attacking Simon, shifting, and then attacking Jacob. Hits Simon for 16, misses Jacob. Minor Action to Change Shape, then Move Action to get out of firing range.

Gauvain uses Scourge of Autumn versus Reflex, hitting smoothly. This deals 9+2=11 Fire damage, and creates a new Zone that lasts until the end of Gauvain’s next turn. Each enemy that starts its turn within the zone cannot make saving throws until the end of its next turn. Sustain Minor.

FoS Wizard #1 is Stunned
FoS Wizard #2 tosses a Blinding Darkness versus Night Terror. Miss.
FoS Wizard #3 tosses a Blinding Darkness versus Night Terror. Hit, 14 damage and Night Terror can’t see further than 3 squares.
FoS Wizard #4 tosses a new Strangling Darkness at Night Terror. Miss.
FoS Wizard #10 tosses a new Strangling Darkness at Night Terror. Miss.

Agale wrote:The flesh may have been weak, but the will was nothing short of adamant. The Tollere's body swirled with energies both deadly and soothing and blood, oh so much blood. But still he stood, a deranged smile cracking across his lips as if to intone Is that all you've got!?
It wasn’t.

Simon de Casteele stands up and tosses a Thunderstrike at Agale and Cerise, misses Agale, hits Cerise and deals 18 Thunder damage to her, and Dazes (Save Ends) her.
FoS Wizard #9 casts Blinding Shadows vs. Reflex at Agale, hits with a 32, dealing 15-9=6 damage and Agale cannot see more than 3 squares away.
FoS Wizard #11 casts Blinding Shadows vs. Reflex at Agale, misses.
FoS Wizard #12 casts Blinding Shadows vs. Reflex at Agale, misses.
Summoned Horror #3 uses its Claws vs. AC on Agale again, two attacks, hits once with a 35, dealing 15 damage and Agale is grabbed (Escape DC 19)
7 Thugs shoot crossbows at Agale, with 30, 33, 22, 33, 14, 19, 17, for a total of 3 hits, dealing 24 damage.

Jacob de Casteele moves over and tosses a Thunderstrike at Athene, dealing 16 Thunder damage and Dazing (save end) Athene.
Summoned Horror#4 moves to Athene and attacks her, hits twice. Deals 21 damage total, and Athene is Grabbed (Escape DC 19)
3 Thugs shoot crossbows at Athene, all three hit, dealing 24 damage.

Nerit wrote:"Prodito! Feel Doherty's sting."
Sodalis, it seemed, had had enough. His ephemeral form was faintly unsteady now, more transparent now. One could see stars in his black body, emerald suns for eyes, but one could also see the room beyond, and the mundane reality that grounded out Sodalis’s bizarre nature.

He had gotten very few hits in, which was unfortunate, and he was wounded, insomuch as those words meant anything for an entity such as him. But more immediately troublesome was the fact that Sodalis could not bloody see anything that was going on.
The creature listened, and then cast its will forth, giving it a physical manifestation that screamed through the soul and tore at the body. Kerrian and Mercator flew before Sodalis’s might like toppled chessmen, as Sodalis cleared an escape for himself with bloody force.

Sodalis is bloodied, and so uses his Bloodied Beauty power, attacking Nicolas, Kerrian, and Gauvain. Hits Nicolas with a 24, inflicting 24-9=15 Necrotic Damage, and Nicolas is Dazed (Save Ends). Kerrian and Gauvain take 24/2=12-9=3 Necrotic damage.

Sodalis observes that this is his second round of not being able to see anyone, and he’s already Bloodied. This, on the whole, is not a good situation to be in. Move action to stand up. Time to make for the door. Standard Action to toss an Entropic Bolt vs. Will at Kerrian and Mercator. Hits Kerrian with a 30, dealing 20 Psychic damage, and Mercator with a 23, dealing 21 Psychic Damage. Both are pushed 3 squares.

Saves!
Night Terror versus Restrained: Success.
FW3 saves versus Daze: Success.
FW10 saves versus Weakened: Success.
SH3 saves versus Ongoing Damage: Success.
Sodalis can’t make any saves due to Gauvain’s Aura.

OOC:Spirits shield goes off vs sodalis, and crits vs reflex with a 36. This will inflict 23 damage after the +2 vunerable is taken into account. Agale will heal 7 hp. My spirit companion that was in the room with sodalis will move to M32 due to the crit. Also, I will use a daily item power to spend a healing surge, and so can Gauvain should he be so inclined.

Something invisible brushes past Kerrian. Something invisible that is carrying a metal flask. The whatever-it-is pops out the wax seal, gently holds up the unconscious Agale's head, and puts the flask to his lips. Invisible fingers massage his throat to help the potion inside go down. The sweet taste may well stir the lawyer from his oblivion, even as the elixir helps his flesh to knit itself a little closer to wholeness.

Further down the hall, Lia narrows her eyes at Sodalis' display and aims her staff and wand at him once more. "Dung-eating, lying, filthy, shapeshifting..." she growls. "Sagitta magica, omne errore vacua, vole!" Again, a dart of force flies away and buries itself in the cat-creature's body.

(OOC: The Unseen Servant moves up and administers the healing potion to Agale, who may now spend a healing surge as a minor action.
Next, she pegs Sodalis with another Magic Missile for 11 force damage. I believe this nets her another 5 hp. ^^
Lia holds position.)

She saw Nicolas, and offered him a brief, sardonic smile, the tip of her tongue licking at the blood that splashed her face.
"I really should try and get some more normal women in my life.." Nicolas muses with a sigh, unfortunatley his musing his cut short by whatever the hell it was Sodalis just did. In fact the poet is hit by the worst case of room spin he's had since he made the error of opening the third bottle of absinthe in one sitting, accompany that with the inability for his brain to function on more than one task at time, and Nicolas was nto havign a good day.

"pluuryygghhfff... porlurryghhah" he attempts, whilst trying vainly to get his tongue to respond to simple commands like speaking. Finally mastering himself he turns on Sodalis. "You know you ...." he trails off in mid sentence as he brain decides its time for another snooze.. "Oh you just smell bad." He mutters resorting to base insults, although his insides cringe at the lack of wit and imagination involved, and he resolves to have stern words with his frontal lobes once this all over.

Pushed back by Sodalis' assault, Kerrian took a moment to take stock of the situation. A quick moment to adjust his positioning, and a moment of focus sent reinforcing energies towards both Agale and Nicolas, with a bit more of the energies sent Agale's way though Mercator definitely felt some of the spillover.

OOC:Move action to go to N31, spirit companion by Agale is moving to M27, using a sudden restoration as a minor. Nicolas and Agale can both make a save. Then using Healing Spirit, giving Agale Surge+3, and Mercator 12 HP.

As the spirit energies of Kerrian's familiar spirit enter him, Mercator seems to become less substantial, almost wafting to a point of view from which he can see Sodalis; the dark marks of the phane's attacks fade as they are counteracted by the shaman's magic and Mercator's own internal energies. Nodding at Kerrian in acknowledgment, he gestures idly with his right hand and a beam of light strikes at the phane, piercing it again.

Shift to N30, standard action for second wind, minor to sustain Crown of Stars and poke Sodalis again, 31 vs. Reflex for 9 total damage (8+1 for curse).

A figure in white dashed across the hall to the adjoining room (and open window), digging through its purse as it did so. It also may have said, at considerable volume:

"Oh, and to think that such a Universally Threatening Behemoth should further imperil the arcane security of that Polity our band holds dear, by pilfering the very Spirit Box that was so recently reported vanished! Surely, this Horror must perforce overmaster the world, should he not be forestalled with all haste!"

Again, no explicit falsehoods.

23 to Bluff (28 if it counts as a Diplomacy), and Celeste moves to V37 and saves vs. Daze with an 11 at the end of her turn. Going to create an exit!
