Rafe, are you going to post the chat log? The 'off screen' scene with Jamie and Ezra?

Yep.
I played him based on his motivations, history, and so on. His decisions ultimately took him down a dark road, but it might have been otherwise.
There but for the grace of God...

Since Shana killed herself, will you make a new PC?

She killed herself last game. You know, dagger to neck? She killed herself right after she cursed Jamethon.

So, are you going to actually continue to play undead-Shana?

The cliffhanger was that she was either about to be killed or restored. I think I now know which way that is going!
I certainly see no possibility of playing an undead Shana. She is far too concerned about the risks to those around her to wander around loose, and her conscience is clear: she does not fear the afterlife enough to contemplate existing as an undead. If she isn't restored, she will die one way or another.

I don't see why you think you know now. I don't know what will happen next.kintire wrote:The cliffhanger was that she was either about to be killed or restored. I think I now know which way that is going!
Rafe's running the sequel, you know. I won't be the DM. I'm going to be playing a new PC. I have no sway over whether Shana remains a horrible undead monster or gets saved.

Remaining a horrible undead monster is not an option on the table.

Okay, more on that later, having a busy day:
You all will play new characters in the adventure series "The Fountain of Youth".
It will be a FIVE adventure series, likely starting in October, and your starting level will be 5.
YES, the fate of all the PCs of this campaign will be explored, but likely you will not come to play them within the FoY arc.
Since we have been gaming for around six years now, I am, however, thinking that AFTER Fountain of Youth, there should as well be possibilities to reprise the story, likely with Moorkroft as the main antagonist.

I bet when she gives in to the evil and eats Ino, things will be different.

Cool. I made a 9th level PC, but 5 is actually more my style. I don't like beginning as ahigh level as much as low or mid. I'll just drop my stats , items, etc to the appropriate levels. Now I have an advancement scheme laid out!Rafael wrote:Okay, more on that later, having a busy day:

Re: Ravenloft Origins: The Rising - OOC
A new PC sounds cool but I really like Ino I play that character for so long! I would like to have a proper end of the story and see what will happen with Shana though.
So the next game will be in RL right? For Ino's shake I will take a wizard again.
