Raf---
VIEW CONTENT:
If it is needed-

Initiative-

[dice]0[/dice]+2

attack roll
[dice]1[/dice]+3

-2 to Boiros ' AC for kneeling, yes?

If that hits-

[dice]2[/dice]+6

As I understand it, Otto is behind Boiros and Caitlin and Boiros, both of whom are kneeling.

If not I may wish to amend my action.

Is this a surprise attack (that's what I am hoping for)? No DEX bonus to AC, then?

Anyhoo, sorry Van, but the Legate signalled me to choppity chop.

Don't worry Ewan, it's a game. Yes I would have preferred if my PC lived a bit longer but Raf has told us that is a deadly adventure, so all good.

What AC you hit, and how much damage you dealt because I'm a bit confused with your post. This was the surpised round so we roll Init, or there is no surprise round so I roll init as well?

Boiros has 14 AC (the shield I don't think it applies here) and has 10 hp.

Too bad my 20 diplomacy didn't help :(

Raf, if Boiros dies (which is the most probable scenario) can I make a new PC? Always an Anchorire (since didn't have much chance to play one...) but this time from the Darkonese Sect so he speaks Darkonese perhaps?

I was waiting to find out from Raf if this was indeed a surprise round.
That's clearly a call for the DM to make, and I do not want to step on his toes.

But yeah, if Boiros has AC 14 and 10 hp then the attack would presumably hit him and put him down.

At least he won't suffer.

Sure, although who knows-- maybe Boiros can get away?

Doesn't seem likely, but it could be possible.

He may not speak Darkonese, but did he see the Legate make the 'chop motion' during translation?

He could run like heck. Grab a horse and skeedaddle.

Or attack The Legate!

If he's going to die, might as well die fighting, right?

Hehe, guys... NICE.

The thing is, though, we are likely going to wrap the game after the well-deserved TPK, and this scene.

Not because I wouldn't like to game with you guys, but because I don't know how available I will be after Christmas,
and the restart the game with new characters would likely take longer.

Now, since I don't want to be a spoilsport, I may offer a game in my Mordred universe, if you guy are interested.

Over the next three to five months, that's going to be the focus of my gaming anyway, so that wouldn't be much of a sacrifice,
and, who knows, if you do a good job, you might make it into the published book. :)

You can get a first impression of Mordred over HERE, for example.

We would likely use the same board for our game.

On second thought... I might try and do the game over at Mythweavers. Nothing wrong with DDOG, but I want to raise the book's google rating.
