I talked to him today. He's busy with the moving and hasn't had much time to make a character. I suggested he starts when Ch 2 starts.

The dinner is over, and Niles looks around as the students and the teachers leave for their relaxation moments before bedtime. Frances has given him an lead that might be worth to follow, but he still does not know what her motives are. Looking around the hall, he can only guess at whom might be involved in this secret society, if there is one. And what if there is? Most of them are harmless, children's play without real consequences. At this level, some of them could evolve into dangerous things, or students could be humiliated to be part of them or for not being part of them, but Niles has no much to go by. Maybe Frances will tell him something more useful, or he could try to find from someone else if there is anything sinister going around.

The coincidence between the medallion found with the dead boy and rumours of a secret society might be grounds for him to worry.

All right, guys, we have lost Tarlyn, so the game is now down to 2 players, waiting on Rafael to join in and bringing it back to three.

Given that all characters were leading three different scenes, the loss of Steve is not crucial just yet, but George will be orphan for a while or for ever. There's a scene planned for George on the following day, that would be a Friday, but given the new information George just received, he might actually want to do something else.

In any case, the current plan was to finish chapter 1 at the end of Friday, after Niles has spoken to Frances, and Christine to the Gypsies and maybe something more. I suggest we bring the ongoing threads for these characters to a close and see when Rafa is able to join us. I have offered him an NPC, in fact, Oliver. Then, we might just silently close Chapter 1, with or without the remaining scene for George.

Nevertheless, we need to see what happens to George. The immediate alternatives are to make him an NPC, write him off or find someone else to play him, but I would like to know the opinion of the other players regarding continuing the game for now.

I vote NPC as at least it adds the most flexibility when dealing with George in the future and gives you the option to do what you need to with the character. Glad that Rafe is joining as well. Hope your work and move have gone well!

Sad to see Tarlyn go. But these things happen! Hope things are going alright for him though!

I noticed now it's my turn to post, but I am going through a busy time in real life. Might take a few days to post.

Just to let you know that I'm ready to jump in whenever we move to the next morning, in case anyone was waiting. There's no need to rush if there are still things to happen overnight.
