Hey guys! How would you handle the Astral Plane based powers of classes from Occult Adventures. Would you simply substitute the Ethereal Plane in Ravenloft?

Hey Jester! Thanks for your time.
Here's my example: Psychic Liches use Memoirs instead of Phylacteries. The Memoir can usually only be destroyed if the PCs can use it to connect with the Liches Legend (similar to but far less potent than the Spirits used by Mediums) on the Astral Plane.
With such ties to the Astral Plane would it even be possible for psychic liches to be drawn into Ravenloft, let alone make the transformation from within a Domain? I would say yes, but the Astral Plane is replaced by the Ethereal or Shadow Plane, respectively. What would be your take on this?
