Howdy... A quick one...

The Southlands Kickstarter from Kobold Press.
Yay!

It might be of interest to some of us here. (I know it's of interest to me!) :)

There is pretty much always something horrific or dark in KP's books.

From Kickstarter...
(Highlights from me.)

Lost empires! Cursed tombs! Dinosaurs and djinn! A Pathfinder RPG compatible sourcebook for adventures in the deserts and deep jungle.

Etc, etc...

It's already gone beyond the first goals...

Bye!

Patrick

Hey... A couple of quotes by Wolfgang about the project.

''I think an expansion to the Wastes could be interesting, but you'll find that the Southlands have a few Lovecraftian elements.

Or at least some Dark Gods and some dangerous cults--and maybe some Lovecraftian monsters, if backers submit some in that style for the Bestiary chapter.''

And after I posted my mentioning the KS here, he replied this:

''Thank you, Patrick! There will definitely be some shadows floating around''

Patrick

I will TRY to write a couple of MINI reviews of past Kobold Press projects. They really mesh well with RL in my opinion.

1 day to go. Check out the KS folks. Tombs, undead, gnolls, demon cults, lion people , jinn born, and a whole African/Egyptian setting by the makers of Midgard. Lots of PFRPG goodness.

I'm very curious what happens at 1001 backers btw.

Yes... here's what I was going to add... Before I saw some more love for this!

Ok, a quick shout out to my RL friends.

We are at the last stretch for the Southlands KS project and it is going very well! VERY WELL.

We are down to the last 24-ish hours and I still think there is still a lot of good stuff that can be imported to RL.
(And that is to say nothing of the overall great quality of Kobold Press’ products.)

Check this out!

A lot of dark (not always gothic) stuff…

A lot of ruins from lost civilization, Advanced Races: Werelions, Necrology of the mummy, Ten Arabian adventures, … Oh just go!
:)

And we’re missing 11 backers for extra stuff (plus a great map!)!
