Hey all, so I'm a little new to PbP. If you don't mind a question: what's the etiquette for multi-person conversations (like the one we're having now)? Presumably, if Person A asks Person B a direct question, then it'd be polite to wait for person B to respond before adding anything, right? To expand that scenario, if A asks a question to B and a question to C in the same post, then what?

sorry if i come across as a newb but I'm guessing that when we wish to ask the DM something, we post here? Like if i wanted to ask if my character can see Ivana from where he is, I'd ask here out of character, yes?

So, can we see the bigwigs from where we are? if not, is it possible to move to where we can, without being rude/obvious/breaking etiquette? If so I'd like to suggest that to the group

It is certainly possible to see the rich and beautiful people. They're a ways ahead of you, being shepherded into the dining area ahead of the hoi polloi.

OK we're sitting down to eat with not one but two of the rulers of Borca, am I likely to know "the rules" for eating with Ivan? would that be covered by "Local Knowledge"?

I should probably ask: exactly how far away from Ivan am I?
