Yes, going for Mage.alhoon wrote:Clarification: Esthenor let down the toddler after killing the royalist. He engages the 3-4 royalists that are between him and Truear. And everyone that has heard about Truear knows he wouldn't pause in order to save a girl. He's one of THOSE paramilitaries.
IF you time it right, you can all gang on Truear. He ignored Blund, didn't see Gorric and concentrates on Esthenor that can actually TAKE the damage the mage is dishing. As such Blund and Gorric can score a hit before he starts hitting back.
The three of you have a good chance to kill the mage, but he won't go down easily.
Could I see 3 d20s from Steve and 2 more from Ewan if Gorric indeed goes for the mage?
They're not hit rolls, exactly; they are saves\hit-roll\skill placeholders. To see how the budding heroes luck holds.
Two more d20 rolls:

Ok I posted to reflect that. Hope at least that together we can muck up the mage a little.

Ken: You're ... lucky in a way. No Dark Gods gave power to your emotions. But the curse doesn't take hold.
You do... "meh" in the battle.
Ewan, unfortunately Gorric is very ineffective in this particular battle.
Esthenor and Truear do reasonably well.
Ewan and Steven: Do you want me to fold your efforts in the close-up post, or you want to post a few things yourselves before the conclusion of this phase?

Re: OOC: Death House (5e)
Your characters are lost in the mists. Not a real shocker I guess.
There are voices in the mists. You think you can see things moving with the corner of your eyes. You can't see more than 5'. The screams and shouts from the caravan grow more distant and are now mixed with howls of wolves and other, worse entities although those seem to come from a different direction.
Every once a while you would feel as if yanked strongly by a cold hand only to find nothing when you look. Or Someone's hot breath on the back of your neck. Or a soft, gentle caress on your cheek. Or sharp teeth biting your toes... inside your boot, painfully, but vanishing before they draw blood. Your mother's voice telling you to run back is also unsettling. Or your dead grandmother's.
Feel free to describe how your characters react.
