Heading upstairs? Which room?
And we're talking a short rest or long rest? I think you had a long rest not that long ago game-wise. Like an hour or so.

I would say room 5, the dining room at 1st floor.

I thought we had short rest only. The spellcasters didn't get their spells back.

She looks around to the others.

BOTH Kimber and Thorn are talking at the same time?

Technically, control is flicking from one to the other in the course of a sentence...

The way Kintire described it, Thorn speaks with his own voice.

Now, on the matter of surrendering control of the body to a soul that doesn't belong there...

DoI need to roll anything for trying to talk to him? I am hoping not to actually surrender control...

What you're hoping it will happen to what it will happen is not necessarily the same.
And no roll necessary. Thorn is in control now although he may just surrender control back to Kimber if he doesn't want to talk to the big men. Player's choice really at this point.

Oh, and the party just killed his aunt (fat ghoul) and a family friend (tall thin ghoul) he knew downstairs. Thorn wasn't particularly fond of them.

We're waiting for Kintire to come back.
In the meantime, you both could plan on what to do.
