RAVENLOFT: The One That Got Away OOC
Re: RAVENLOFT: The One That Got Away OOC
Giving him a round to break his concentration, and then shooting him if he doesn't.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

I had a bad feeling about my "brilliant new plan." I should have listened to myself at the beginning of this conversation when I knew that casting spells would go south.
Ironically, my last character got in trouble from detect thoughts too, but it was being used on him.

Noted.
Readied action: shoot.

The Vaasan was trying to read the thoughts of Benn and his companions. Not control or alter, it seems, but scan.

Wolfglide may correct me if I'm mistaken, but that last IC post looks to me like dropping the spell midway through casting, breaking concentration.

It's a detour, but not far out of the way.
You will still arrive at the Grim Bastion before nightfall.

Let's go check it out, then.

I have updated the scene.
Anyone who wants to have gone with Benn is there.
The detour talks about half an hour.
If any PC is elsewhere, doing other things, let me know.

Nope, Raen just assumes Benn will speak with the graveyard keeper or priest or whomever is in the shrine.
BTW what religion is the shrine dedicated to?
