Sitting at the center of the [[island]] of [[Demise]], there exists a mysterious [[labyrinth]] constructed of a very hard, white [[stone]]. The structure's [[architecture]] appears to be of [[CL 4|Classical]] era construction, but its creators and indeed where it came from are entirely a [[mystery]]. The interior of the labyrinth is filled with confusing hallways and indeed [[illusion]]s that boggle the mind. (It was easier for [[Captain Johan Werner]] to escape [[blind]] than it was with his sight intact.) [[Althea]], a [[medusa]] and [[darklord]] of Demise, creeps about, killing any intruders unfortunate enough to venture inside, save for those she chooses to spare.
