Now merely a [[spirit]], Argynvost was a [[silver dragon]] ~~in life~~ that settled in the valley of [[Barovia]] in order to keep the [[evil]] of [[The Amber Temple]] sealed inside. Argynvost adopted ~~thee~~ guise of [[Lord Argynvost]], a [[human]] [[noble]], and established the [[Order of the Silver Dragon]] at his stronghold, [[Argynvostholt]]. However, [[Strahd]] eventually chased his foes into the valley, and Argynvost and the Order became involved in the conflict. Eventually they were overwhelmed by Strahd's forces.
