	Daniel Greensmith is a minor character from [[Heaven's Bones]]. He was a [[slave]] ~~that~~ worked on [[the Riverbend plantation]] and was owned by [[Dr. Alistair Weldon]]. During [[w:Sherman's March\|Sherman's March]], Greensmith was one of the [[slave]]s ~~that~~ set fire to the plantation. This fire ultimately [[killed]] [[Fanny Weldon]], leaving Greensmith with significant guilt over the death of an [[innocent]]. Twenty years following Sherman's March, Greensmith encountered Fanny's [[ghost]] and told her of the time that elapsed since her death.
