Symptomatic of the Devoratrices' isolation were their lack of the demonic ability to summon others of their kind, as well as their inability to reproduce with other Outsiders. Instead, Devoratrices could produce Half-Fiends with mortals, or else reproduce asexually once every 600 years, producing either a fellow Devoratrix (20% chance), or a standard Succubus (80% chance). For all that they were Chaotic Evil, Devoratrices are known for having strong maternal instincts, and a capacity for building a positive relationship with their offspring. They were known to properly educate and provide for their children. It is unknown how the Devoratrices on the Prime Material Plane and other locations outside the Demiplane of Dread fare in the wake of the Spellplague and the collapse of the Shadow Weave that granted them power and purpose in the eyes of their spiteful goddess. It is known, however, that several Devoratrices had fled the Forgotten Realms for other worlds like [[Krynn], Mystara and Oerth before the Spellplague so they could be their own masters.
