	The [[Eye of Toldun]] (a name given to him by [[Appissa]] was the [[priest]] and [[prophet]] of the [[imprisoned]] [[yuan-ti]] "goddess" [[Appissa]]. Appissa had been locked in eternal slumber until the Eye discovered the [[Shrine of the Eye]]. In return for his service, Appissa gave the Eye the power of [[prophecy]] and eventually a magic [[potion]] that would allow him to take whomever he wanted for a bride. He found the potion in a hidden nook within the Shrine's altar. Inside the nook he also found the [[Bone Knife of Appissa]], but she forbade him from taking it. The Eye returned to the village and took [[Dillura Ogfenhauer]], daughter of [[Lord Pallignay Ogfenhauer]], as his bride. Later, Dillura would give birth to their child, [[Benada Nameless]], whom Dillura despised for the child's unnatural eye colors.
