He is an intelligent, [[shapechanger\|shape-shifting]] [[snake]] that works for the [[Grand Snakemaster]] and is (ultimately) responsible for the deaths of [[Jandi]] and [[Alleya]]. Concealing his true nature, he [[tempted]] them the arts of snake charming in return for letting him sire his child with her. ~~with with~~ the birth of Sheneya, Alleya became [[poisoned]] and died. [[Jandi]] was convicted of her [[murder]] and [[executed]], leaving Sheneya to be raised by Hister.
