Serf [[farmer]]s and [[shepherd]]s comprise the bulk of the population. Most are quite satisfied with their lives, leaving them little reason to wonder about the world outside their neighborhood. Despite this seemingly ~~idea~~ existence, life in Romagna has a couple of quirks. First, there is a hidden awareness that displaying affection publicly can stir great outrage. Another curiosity exists that the ~~native~~ don't seem aware of: the lives of [[Baron Etain]] and his bride to be [[Lady Fialle]] seem to be stuck in a temporal loop that resets every year at the spring equinox.<ref name=BoSp.84>[[Book of Sorrows]] p.84</ref> Serf [[farmer]]s and [[shepherd]]s comprise the bulk of the population.
