Serving under [[Captain Raoul Dumont]], he was a [[sailor]] aboard [[La Demoiselle du Musarde]]. With permission from his captain, Caleb was eventually [[murdered]] and [[reanimated]] as a [[zombie]] by [[Lond]]. This may have to do with [[Flowswift]] attempting to seduce him into retrieving [[Flowswift's Shawl\|her shawl]] from Dumont as Dumont later uses the knowledge of Caleb's transformation to intimidate Flowswift from trying anything again. However, Lond and Dumont were conspiring to murder and reanimate a majority of the ship's crew.
