She had fallen in love with [[Oudart Gilson]], the second-in-command of the [[Avergnite]] army. Because of her attempts to find peace between the [[Stauntonian|Stauntonians]] and the [[Avergnites]], she was outside of [[Castle Stonecrest]] on the night of the Avergnites&#039; invasion.
