Rilca

A minor character from the Ravenloft novel Baroness of Blood, Rilca is the cook of Lord Jorani. She lives at Argentine. While Ilsabet Obour was staying in Argentine in Jorani's place, she periodically poisoned Rilca with black nettle, Rilca none the wiser and thinking it to be tonic gone bad. Wanting to impress Ilsabet, Rilca told Ilsabet about a herbal tea that could prevent pregnancy so long it was taken. After it was not, the tea would supposedly guarantee a pregnancy. Ilsabet used this concoction later to attempt to conceive a baby with Lord Jorani, though later Jorani revealed Rilca lied. Chances were greater that Lekai Obour Sundell, the son of Ilsabet and supposedly Jorani, was actually the son of Peto.
