The adventure that started it all, in 1983. I remember playing it as it came out … It was so different from other adventures of the era (i.e. the 'G' serie): it had a plot, and a good one! ;)
It was a killer adventure, with the Strahd fight in the end very tough (my fighter character was polymorphed into a bird by EFV…). A great example that a dungeon could be frightening and great entertainment.
The floorplan of castle Ravenloft are excellent material. Too bad future products will not have map that will be of this quality …
