I can see what you're saying there, but personally the sort of detached nature of it is part of what I find horrific. Theodore Gericault might be pretty good as well for less supernatural varieties of horror, especially, Head of a Guillotined Man.

Oh yeah, there should definitely be a lot of neat little personality clashes, especially considering how often people end up getting tortured in this game.
