I loved the emailed cut scene idea by the way. That sounds like a great idea

The Ravenloft DMG mentions using cut scenes to really feel in the players when it comes to the background of a villian for example. Has anyone actually used these? How do they feel, how do you avoid giving too much away. Are they avoid idea, a bad idea or any advice?
