Hmmm... the link didn't work for me. I got a message in German, which I presume meant "page unavailable," or "you do not have permission to view this site," or something along those lines...

More Ravenloft Covenant novels

Hi all, I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere, but in addition to "To Sleep with Evil" and "I Strahd: Memoirs of a Vampire," we can look forward to seeing the following reissues in the Ravenloft Covenant series in 2007: . "Tapestry of Dark Souls" (June 12, 2007...

and, pee-yew, the worst are Shadowborn by William Connors and Dance of The Dead by Christie Golden. I think you are the first person I see who really didn't like Dance of the Dead. Many people, me included, loved it. Just surprised. Joël You can count me as #2, where dislike of "Dance of the D...

I'm working on the "ANCIENT DEAD" entry, which I'll post really soon. :) Okay, domain-based Knowledge checks would be good. Here's an example: BAROVIA Knowledge (Nobility and Royalty) 10: The heart of Barovia is ruled by the von Zaroviches of Castle Ravenloft. By fiat they also have contr...

Re: SPOILER: Book Review of WoTC's New Edition of "I St

: I Strahd is the first of "The Ravenloft Covenant": WoTC's clever name for the reissue of the classic novels. Although there are rumors that WoTC is dropping the product line, this book seems to state otherwise, for it mentions Ravenloft releases well into 2007. If I'm not mistaken, &quo...

I own both decks, and the Whitewolf one definitely is worth getting. Not only are the cards bigger and the art impressive, but the Ravenloft logo does not appear on the back of the cards... this was a big thing for me, especially when performing Tarokka readings for player's who did not yet realize ...

While a direct Mystara/Ravenloft tie-in might be a cute in-joke for fans of both settings, it wouldn't make sense to players who know one setting but not the other ... which I'm pretty sure includes the vast majority of the Ravenloft audience. It'd also be inconsistent with the established pattern ...

I voted D&D 3.5 as well, for the same reasons Jester mentioned. I also use quite a few house rules and optional rules from Unearthed Arcana and Iron Heroes (Vitality/Wound Points, Armour DR, among many others), and still manage to play a low magic hybrid of Greyhawk and Ravenloft. Sure, the 3.5 ...

Your request isn't unreasonable. You are right. Let's extent the deadline to January 5th. But if you have time now guys, write now! As soon as we have your entries, as soon we review them and give you time to edit, if needed! Don't use it as an excuse to report it for later :) Joël Thanks for the e...

Hey Frat people, Any chance you'd consider extending the deadline for submissions to the Nocturnal Seas Gaz until sometime after Christmas? Work and personal stuff have prevented me from contributing anything thus far, but I'll definitely have time to write over the holidays... especially since my o...

Souragne reference in new Paizo adventure path?

Hi everyone, Sounds like Paizo has given a nod to Souragne in the latest installment of its Savage Tide Adventure Path, set on the edges of the Amedio Jungle (near the southwestern edge of the World of Greyhawk map). I haven't received the issue yet, so I can't comment further, but here's the thread...
