Re: Adventures and the Timeline
I don't know of any expanded timelines. There are a couple of references to Chilling Tales in Mangrum's timeline, from which you might be able to extrapolate likely dates for the reminder of the mini-adventures.
As for "The Laughing Man", Mistipedia reports that it was published in 1994. By ...

Adventures and the Timeline
JWMs Timeline is probably the most indispensable Ravenloft resource ever made.
There are still Adventure Modules that I am having a difficult time figuring out the dates to.
For example the Laughing Man adventure from Dungeon Magazine # 52
Does anybody know a resource that also tells the dates of ...

Re: Best system for Ravenloft?
I prefer any system from indie rpg side of things. Dread is a good one, Dungein World, Alas of the Awful Seas, Blue Beards Wife (specially for Blausstein) etc,
Its been years i cant even remember when i last used any iteration of D&D for Ravenloft.

Re: Publication Year and Campaign Year
In the years of TSR every publication year is supposed to be a Ravenloft year. In 2e Domains of Dread there is a timeline with adventure reference. The timeline for Chilling Tales adventures can be found in Ravenloft Timeline: by John W. Mangrum and can be downloaded from

Publication Year and Campaign Year
Hello
Is there any type of synergy between actual years and campaign years aligning ? So if we cant figure out when something takes place its publication date gives us a guideline ?
Also does anybody have campaign year for all the adventures in Chilling Tales, since they all have Van Richten at ...

Endless Express Train
I want to a game in which there is a train that is a domain. Anybody who gets on then does not get of and is then forever a passenger - never reaching his destination.
Perhaps every compartment serves a different purpose
Or something
Any ideas - regarding darklord, what happens, denizens etc.

Re: Non-Ravenloft Adventure Modules
Here are some small reviews I did of some Paizo adventures:

Murder's Mark is the standout for RL, with Gallery of Evil and Carrion Hill having strong showings as well.
I know that many (including our own Joel) have used some of the ...
