I am starting this module in two weeks time.

I am looking for any and all help with setting atmosphere and bringing life on a ship to, well, life.

Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!

I actually like that for flavour. Jumping in the way of arrows, throwing themselves between the raging PC and her, etc.

I think four, each at four hours.

So Part One of Episode One is up. It is available for streaming from our website and should be on Itunes in a few days if all goes well.

I'm kind of stymied, if I'm to be honest, at how freaking long this section in the church has taken.

I have a Forfarian Druid in my campaign so we have had this very conversation. It worked very well for him to see his people pining away for their true homeleand but being a people in exile primarily in ghettos is Southern Barovia and at Forfarmax. We didn't treat Forfarmax as a native Forfarian set...

I like that, I like that actually a lot. I think not having him brute force the PCs but rather focus on summoning monster after monster. Though, it may be tricky to have him not get smashed by the players, maybe at the point if/when he arrives players have to make a balance check every round to move...

I completely am doing that. Likely occurring next session, it took longer than expected to get to the point where it made sense. But I think I want that to be happening during the combat.

So Radaga was a 7th level cleric but upon her death comes back as a wight. I'm thinking I may have to bump her up/give her some minions. In my usage, I have attempted to stick to the Black Box configuration, if for no other reason that I gave the players that fold out map in game and out so that they could gather around it and plan their next move.
