Darkon. Knowing as much as I do about RL, I'd definately want my memories altered so that I *wasn't* aware that I was trapped in the Demiplane of Darkness.

Course, it'd never be that easy, would it? Even if I did try and get my memories lost, the Dark Powers would probably curse me with being ...

I'm not so certain about all this 'it's terrible for the fanbase' stuff. Personally, I take something great away with me every time I see one of these arguments flare up on a message board... it's like watching the aftermath of car crash. Somehow morbid, and certainly not worth spending your time ...

Strahd's Heraldry?

Well, the title says it all, really. What is Strahd's heraldic symbol?

A bit of a late post, due to other stuff happening. Right.

Wick attempted to get hired by Duce Ciudaru, and failed miserably, by being turned away by the manservant, Nelvo. He then spent the day bumming around. As he does so, wandering around the woods, he comes across his good friend Robert ...

Don't forget that the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook is not going to designed for realism. It's going to be balanced for how much money you're supposed to get for dungeon crawling. A quarter of a million gold pieces by ordinary D&D standards means that by level 8 or so, a party pooling their ...

Session 2 - Age 12

Had a quick brief to the players, encouraging them to recollect what happened last time, while I ran Edd (character's name - Devis Colburn) through the part of his childhood where his parents introduced him to a 'changeling' - his younger brother. They then killed him and got him ...

Campaign journal

It strikes me as a good idea to write up a brief campaign journal on here. On the one hand, I get to remember what has already happened in the campaign, and remind me what I was planning on doing, and on the other, can let other people see what I'm doing, and possibly give advise or suggestions or ...

YES! Yes, I like that. Peter Pan as werealligator. Done!

Not sure I'll blame Tinkerbell, though.

Also, the captain's hatred of clocks would also be explained if every time one chimed, it turned his archnemesis into a huge creature bent on eating him.

Hmm... even in the stories, Pan took his hand ...

I would say that it would depend on the lycanthrope. Someone who has been cursed with lycanthropy would have some kind of soul taint, a mark of the beast on their soul. In this case, flesh golems would only contract the lycanthropy if you ruled they got bits of soul as well - which could make them ...

Curse of Lycanthropy

I'm shortly going to be running a game in Invidia. One of my players has elected to start the game cursed. For the sake of simplicity and because it's easy to understand and so on, I elected to make him a werewolf, and the curse hits him because of something his parents did, which is why he gets ...

Perhaps... perhaps we can have it that the cycle of Pan-Hook, Pan-Hook is already established in the world, and Tinkerbell is, by trying to kill Wendy, protect her Pan from turning into a Hook, because Tink knows where the starting to grow up thing will end? If she was darklord, constantly having ...

Tinkerbell hating Wendy because she might make Pan grow up rather than jealousy is a nice touch... and in some ways, Peter does start to grow up, and Tink does die at the point when he's really miserable as everyone has left him... he's not having fun. But Peter wants her back too much, and wills ...

Furthermore, from watching the film at moment and from my g/f's extensive Peter Pan knowledge - fairies are embodiments of children - each one is created by a child's first laugh, and die when people profess that fairies aren't real. Peter rejecting Tink for Wendy when Tink gets her shot down is the ...
