Tuke waves off Agna's thanks. " Think nothing of it, my dear. After all this times you've swept my pipe ash out of the carpet, it was the least I could do. " He ignores the studious glare Agna gives the ash bucket - or chooses to ignore it, in any event. Not surprised. That's my girl. The ...

Tuke puts a finger over his lips, gestures to Agna, and tiptoes silently out of the room. (1) As they quietly walk down the winding stairs to the kitchen and back room, the little fool pauses for a moment. Did I hear a wolf howling out there in the wilds? (2) Ezra help good Master Pancrazio if there...

Still up for it. And Griselda's been going nuts for a while.

"The Kindly Ones" is an old term for the fey that's oddly scary - especially when you consider that it's said more as a fervent hope than an accurate description. "The Still Ones" is also good.

What would we have left? A very rich, vibrant culture? I mean, honestly - we know more about how the Vistani live their life than any other culture in Ravenloft. Why should all that material be solely reserved for the DM? It's the culture that really defines the Vistani, not the powers. Basically, ...

The subtype also makes the vulnerable to axiomatic weapons, and for definition purposes it also expands the fey category - it permits you to do things like bane weapons, et al, for fey that aren't simply the fey type. The fey type itself, when you look at it, is weak. Attacks are as per the wizard, ...

We all *know* who the real Darklord of Paridon is supposed to be - Jack the Ripper. Sodo is a terrible stand in for him.

I've never seen Rokimusha Toyoo well described, or even delineated. It's more me than anything else, I suppose, but I'd much rather have an Oriental domain that has echoes of Fu Manchu in it than this sketch. Sanguinia, is, as I recall, not much more than a monster with a place to stand on. Suba I l...

I honestly had intended for it to be tossed on top of Giant, Monstrous Humanoid, and even Dragon for the Linnorm. I'm not sure if I see a place for a "double-fey"; the original template is so weak that I'm not convinced that it wasn't made with noncombatant sort of things like sprites and ...

Agreed. Mind you, his stats have always been less than a thing of beauty, but that argument applies to most of the "human" Darklords (like the Boritsis). I'm in favor of converting Dominic and the Boritsis to sorcerers/aristocrats, instead of "plain" aristocrats, 3.5 terms. In 4e...

If you're staying with the initial conceptualization of Ravenloft as a prison demiplane, the best answer in my opinion would be the "Ezra answer" - the Warlock think they're making a deal with patron X, but in reality they're dealing with the Dark Powers. In a real sense, it doesn't even m...

Fair Folk Crunch!

This thread is dedicated to supply some statistics for NeoTiamat's utterly awesome Fair Folk Thread ; I'm sure he's got his own crunchiness, but since it's a holiday weekend and I love playing with this sort of stuff, I though I'd start a playground here. NeoTiamat made a good point in the prior thr...

*ponder* I would really like to come up with some feats for elves in 3.5/Pathfinder/4e that tie them to this version of the fey. As much as I love Jackie and Nicky's writing, the Guide to the Shadow Fey felt a little lacking to me. I'd rather use these versions. (That, and I hate the Shadow Rift). O...

I like this idea. With your permission, I'll edit some of this into the post (and give you a credit, never fear).
Are you kidding? I'm flattered you like the notion. Please, steal it, twist it to make it your own, and enjoy it for all it's worth!
