Re: NPC Index
Where? I skimmed the Beast of Ehrendton excerpts that I could find in VRGtF and I don't see anything about Ironhand being sent by anyone, and no mention of Prince Rivtoff that I can find. What page is that on? I seemed to me like he just took it upon himself to go after the Duke. Sorry wrong produc...

In the same book, the Snowmen of Mount Bramble are mentioned in passing. Does anyone know what they are? No idea. what page are they on in VRGttSF? Page 69 of VRGTTSF: The shee appear to be especially intrigued by the stuff (ie snow), as the life -like "Snowmen of mt. Bramble" in Tepest d...

Re: NPC Index
Is he mentioned anywhere other than p19 in FoG? because it's not clear to me from that page that he is human. Granted, it was 2e, so having Bard levels implies a playable race, but that hasn't always been clear cut in Ravenloft, with grandpappy Strahd being the poster boy for such things. Clieous c...

More questions: A contradiction: In the Undead Sea Scroll 3, the hag Semine appears, supposedly the same one who met van Richten in his guide to hags and witches. However, in the same guide, the twins say George Weathermay killed the hag Semine. In Van Richten's Guide to Fiends, there is the story o...

Re: NPC Index
Ok, I have finished collecting all the names, unless someone gives me a positive review on Death Unchained or the release The Shadow Rift pdf. Only have my open questions to finalize the list. I will try to post them all in the next day or two. Here are some: In Van Richten's Guide to the Shadow Fey...

More questions: A contradiction: In Bleak House van Richten has two grandmothers mentioned, Ella Van Richten who is buried with Rudolph's grandfather, Frederick, and Leora Van Richten who passed down her love of music to her children and grandchildren. Rudolph regrets not spending more time practici...

Re: Famous explorers of Ravenloft, the Amber Wastes, and yua
Here is what I have for explorers and others who may fit from my NPC List: Jacques Renier was an explorer, from long ago. He built the House on Gryphon Hill when he retired. Long dead. Ilran the Badger is a ruins explorer in Hazlan. Mentioned in passing in Gaz 1. Alexander Penarrow and Harrington Fe...

Thanks for all the answers. I will add the possibility that the 2 Illhousen nephews are really one person using an alias. Here are some more nicknames: From Van Richten's Guide to the Created Antonin Madren's Sister - Atonin created a golem to replace his sister. Casdin's Scarcrow - Casdin created t...

Some more questions: Duke Gundar's children, Geweena and Medraut. Any idea what their race would be? Medraut did not sound like a vampire in KotBR but was monstrous. A strange coincident, Bernard Foquelaine is the mayor of Port d'Elhour in the Souragne Gaz, someone of the same name was mentioned in ...

Death Unchained has been added for download to D&D classics. Is it any better than Death Ascendant? Worth getting or another one that can be skipped?

Great map of the Verduous Lands. Is the layout of the cluster, how the domains are connected to each other, your creation? Or were they laid out officially somewhere?

Re: NPC Index
Thanks for the answers Gonzoron. The nightmare court - For their race, I am trying to come up with something generic enough to use for all the members of the nightmare court. Any suggestions? I'd be hesitant to pin them down to one, since they are so unique and so many people have gone in different ...

Re: NPC Index
Here are some more questions. In Circle of Darkness, the poster has a small mention of the Devourer of Song, the Silence that eats sound and instills madness. Unless anyone knows if this creature was mentioned somewhere else I am going to list its race as unknown. The nightmare court - For their rac...
